AAbogi is my Top Pick. Excellent journey it's! Scintillating Swaraa Singing. Breezy Sustenance @ Ga ma ma Ga ma ma ma! Wow! Superb. Of course, Kalyani always stands like a Princess in any Concert. "Kanchi Nagara Vigaaram, Siva Kalyana GuNa Saaram"👌. Opening Saaveri marked a Beautiful Beginning. "Entha Moortho Entha Sogaso" in Bindu Malini was as haunting as an Aahir Bhairav / Chakravaaham would sound. Vandhe Bharathaambe in Reethi GowLa was Sparkling. Fascinating Dharbaari Kaanada followed by Desh! Dharbaari Kaanada was felt as most apt for the sober Pallavi "Naadinoam, Poaraadinoom Bharatha MaNNukke! '. After that lively "enna Paaliso Karunakara, it's a perfect Finish in Madhyamavathi with Mayilai Karpagame! KaNN Paaraai! Keep it up Brothers! Sri H N Bhaskar was Too Good on the bowing and Excellent Percussion support from your beloved father and Nerkunam Sankar Jee. Shanmukhananda Sabha was our regular concert hall when I was young and my parents were life members so when I heard that there is going to be a virtual concert which is going to be relayed on the Independence day, I was very excited to turn on to the music and to my delight it was a superb Kacheri by Trichur brothers. Since then I have been hooked on to their singing. What a feast they offer most of the times.

Why should we compare our musical Trichur brothers (geniuses) with Mozart? With no intended ill-will to the person who has made this comment, one must understand that Mozart belongs to another world. Believe me no white man will ever compare his western music with ours! Till very recently oYes he was a genius in his own style but how can we compare the two worlds apart??? Wonder what sort of 'mental colonisation' we have been infected with??? We should get out of this mindset at the earliest for pur our own self-respect. 🙏
