Carnaval 2022 Highlight: Lowriders lead parade

The 2022 Carnaval parade in San Francisco's Mission District began with a 20-minute procession of colorful, classic lowrider cars. (5-29-22)

What I enjoy about this event, is family, friends and neighbors bridging the gap and deleting the negative Lowrider stereo type of the past. Everyone is enjoying the outdoors and the peace and happiness being generated by this event. The Lowrider Community is a positive experience for our youth, who learn resposibility, hard work, love and respect for family and others in the community. Thank you for sharing the parade with the world.

When we were young we'd Cruz the El Camino until good people put an end to it because the Mexicans were getting into fights.
