Well done! Funny thing l have noticed, videos of culture, class, distinction, or creativity seem to far rarer on YT than videos of silly cats or folks making fools of themselves

He may be "talented" in playing violin but he's a sad little pathetic racist, and not fit to be called a "master" Just look up on he's long standing hatred and racist rant on Asian musicians and students. I suspect his hatred is born from the fact "he shared the Leventritt Prize with the Korean violinist Chung Kyung-wha in 1967" and it's a little know fact that it WAS NOT a fair contest, Zukerman made a mistake but he was given a special treatment and allow to go second time. Even after that, he still couldn't beat Chung, they ended up sharing the prize. Why is this a big deal? think about it. It was 1967, back then it was almost impossible for woman win the prize (let alone an Asian woman) due to a long standing patriarchy and sexism. Plus the deep rooted racism. But this the decision was still "shared" prize. This must have hurt his pride very early on and later developed into a racist hatred born out of the inferiority complex on Asians :p

Don’t get all sentimental on me Pinchas! 😆 I know you would love that. But seriously, the violin sounds exquisite in this setting. Phrasing is also unmatched. But you don’t need me to tell you that. I can’t get past the first few bars because the playing is so crisp and speaks. It’s beautiful. Unreal.

There's something about Zuckerman's sound on the fourth string which lacks depth and colour. I have to listen to a bit more as I could be wrong.

I have a theory, he may be using high tension strings in this case the Vision solo titanium by Thomastik. I have tried those strings (the normal tension) and they are actually kind of warm but with great projection. I am going to be making comparasion of different strings on my channel since I have been wondering the same question as you. Not only covering diferent tensions but also diferent strings from diferent brands and price ranges.
