This summer, the extraordinary young musicians of the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) embarked on a tour of South America with stops in Montevideo, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Buenos Aires under the direction of celebrated conductor Marin Alsop. The esteemed ensemble will perform a program of works by Barber, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Gershwin, featuring world-renowned pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet as soloist in Rhapsody in Blue.
