Kind of disappointed with Carnelian after the changes to Valeriya. Valeriya got changes so that 'block death' skills don't work anymore, she still dies...

What's the point of a "block death" healer who can't block deaths >

mmm. you got it wrong.. it's Valeriya's ultimate + will of steel passive (Unyeilding state upon taking fatal damage "and" dies immediately when the Ultimate ends..)... if you don't use her ultimate then the unyeilding from Carnelian will proc but Valeriya won't die ... i guess they really nerfed Valeriya bigtime (or fixed)

Val was "fixed" back then in the last patch. If she dies during her ult there is no way to cheat death anymore. However, Val and Carnelian still work fine, just dont use Vals Ult besides the initial placement.

​@DanHeilman1 Before val's "fix," she can still block death with carnelian after fatal dmg when ulting, but now, there's no more point in having Carnelian for Val. Idk why they really want her to die. Lmao

if you put Val next to the 2nd Square in the top she can tank, after a while you could put some one else down to her left top, then this unite will tank the enemis, because Val can not tank the big boys in the end, i use Ghan to tank but maybe you could use Vladov with your highest hp dmg set to tank the Enemis he would benefit from the unyielding.

Carnellian only usable in IC for me, Styx boss. Almost impossible to use in GB with burning dmg DOT. 😂

The way people feel about boreas in AOE arena is how I feel about val in single target. But instead of whining about it I just skip those two days or not attack val teams😂 #iStandWithBoreas

Yeah, that works with Arena, but man, there's no GVG solution. You try and skip the boreas/silas teams, but there's no avoiding them. Val may be OP in a single target arena, when deployed correctly, but since her nerf, she's trickier to use for sure. I don't see her in almost any other content though. Wouldn't mind if they made her viable in other content.
