I like the way you organized by color. I have 22 Carney Plastics cases in 1/64, 1/43, 1/24 and 1/18 scales. I have over 5000 in my collection now and have recently moved so my collection is in storage right now. I have always displayed by type of car, Ford, Chevy etc. but you have given me something to think about! Thanks Mr. IncrediBell. Blessings.

I agree, they are both great and expensive. But, mine have held up great and even survived a move - so, I’d say they’re worth it.

I chose the 99 car tilted version because i live in a double wide with train tracks on other side of the road. The tilted one has a "lip" to prevent cars from falling out. Also the with the tilt the cars don't rattle when the choo choo goes by. I do wish that white bg and shelves was an option as the cars get lost in the reflections and chrome. I am thinking of painting them myself. Oh and Carney sells little magnets to help door sides sit flush even on a not so straight wall.

When you bought these, did the pictures they had on the website have the cars facing towards the right? I want to have mine face the left like you have yours.

🤔 It’s been several years since I bought these but it doesn’t look like they updated the pictures on their website, it all looks the same. And, I never even noticed that mine face the opposite direction (the main view of the car is of the driver’s door side) from what is on their website. I’d imagine they can make ‘em either way. Hope that info helps you on your decision!

They are nice. Do you think they can be mounted on the wall using many commands which stick to the wall and the case would be held with Velcro in the middle? In other words you have a Velcro strips adhered to the wall and then adhered to case. The largest command I've seen would hold 16 pounds so many of them should hold case on wall without drilling holes

I don’t know… I use command strips for a lot of stuff but I’m thinking these might be a little too heavy once fully loaded (and too expensive to experiment with).

Yes, I totally understand! And opened Hot Wheels take up a surprising amount of room! These cases really compress them into a tight, neat, viewable space. - 🦸‍♂️

Thought I would make a separate post about the acrylic magnets carney sells to keep the door sides flush (dust free). They were free for my first case but on 2nd and 3rd they charged me for each magnet. Worth it.

Very cool! I have wanted these cases for a long while. I hope to get them soon! Good vidio bud! My oppinion would be that carney plastics makes an unrivaled product! The only question is do I go with the verticle or angled case or the side to side display! Im leanig towards the angled ones like yours!

Thanks for the comment! I’m glad you found my review useful. I have been very happy with this product, the quality is great and the display is a highlight of my “toy museum”. The angled, with the mirrored back, really gives a fantastic view of all of the cars. I don’t think you’d be disappointed with that design.

EdDIE - after 3 months they’re still lookin’ clean. There isn’t any sort of “gasket” sealing them, but the case does close very tight. Hope that answer helps!

COST would be about; $150 for each display case ($150 x 3 = $450) and about a dollar per car (just an estimate, some I paid more for some less 🤷‍♂️) so, rough guess I’d say at least $900.

Those Carney cases are garbage. They started using very thin plastic, especially on the back. ☹

That hasn’t been my experience. Mine have held up perfectly for 5 years and even made it through a move with not a scratch or a crack.
