It is my dream to sound like Scott one day, but I have a hard time with commitment and I'm afraid I might give up if I try to do vocals.

Just take it a small step at a time. Don't try to give yourself a huge goal to start with. It's easier to set yourself easier goals to begin with that you can reach at a steady pace and that way you're less likely to be discouraged or disappointed with yourself. The commitment part is easy if you have fun doing it 🤘
