Back in 2010, friends of my BIL and SIL invited them on a cruise, they extended the invite to us also. It was our first cruise and here we are about to take cruise #15 in 2 1/2 weeks. (Just slightly addicted 😉) I totally forgot these friends, who introduced us to cruising, were on this cruise. Well I spotted them outside the fun shops in your footage. Now I’ll be watching for further sightings,,,, LOL.

not outside people ? does that mean you stay inside the boat usually ..so much deck niceness including the great ocean views and secret lounge areas for couples and some ships outside big tv with compfy chairs blankets and popcorn ..and outside romantic nights with starry skies you just dont see any where else

True! We normally spend the heat of the day enjoying the sun in limited quantities, unless we're at a port where we can swim and cool off. But evenings outside, watching movies, or just hanging out in the serenity area, are super fun!! :D

Beautiful ending! You make a wonderful couple! The after sundown shots came out great. If you want to try another RC ship not that big, but big, the Liberty is one of your best options. It is gorgeous!

Thanks so much! Yes, we don't usually hang outside too much around sunset, but that was great to see Galveston, the sunset, and the other ship all out there. We've got the Mariner of the Seas booked for 2020, but we'll have to get back into some of the nice small-to-medium Royal ships, indeed!! :D

Three cruises so far I have missed guys pig and anchor. I just find it hard to wait in that always terribly long line outside n sun for bbq. Is it worth it?

A lot of people really love it, but for me it has been a little hit or miss. The meat is usually really good, and out of the three times I’ve tried it, the sides were good two of the times. The other time, they must have been having an off day. I know there are two lines in most setups, and one line is typically a lot shorter than the other. It’s definitely worth checking out both sides before you commit to one particular line, hah!!

How many people did you share a table with for this 2 week cruise? And how in general do strangers react to you taking pictures of your food? When it comes to that, it's not of interest to me to do so.

We had two other couples this go-around, so six of us all together. Funnily enough, when I started taking pictures of the food, one lady just asked if I was a food blogger and accepted it as normal right away, ha ha... We haven't really run into too many people these days thinking it's weird, or we just explain that we're doing it for the KZbins!! :P

We’ve never actually tried, oddly enough. From what I’ve seen around, I don’t know that Carnival does bed toppers. I know that Royal used to, but they’ve mostly discontinued them over the years for sanitary reasons. But it can’t hurt to ask... as far as I know you just appeal to what they usually call the “special needs“ department, or ask your room steward on embarkation day. I’ve heard that Carnival may be able to put extra comforters underneath your sheets to help fluff it up, but I don’t know about an actual bed topper for them.

Anyway, as many times as I incorrectly called it the Freedom of the Seas, it was actually the Liberty of the Seas. We had watched the Carnival Freedom sail away from Galveston the day before, and I got the names jumbled.
