Enjoyed this ship in August, i could not tell the age and later learned how old this ship is but I guess they renovated it and nothing i touched or saw was worn out to reveal the age. Loved the dining experience at Monet so much that we never ate anywhere else. Watching videos after the visit tells me all the stuff that I missed. We had no negative experience

Thank you so much for watching; I hope the video brought you back to your vacation even just a little bit. I love watching videos about ships I've sailed as they always make me smile. Glad to hear that you didn't have any negative experiences on your sailing. Truly, the Conquest-class is one of my favorite classes of ships across all the brands. Now that you know all the tips, tricks, and secret spaces, you'll have to book another one either on the Conquest or one of her sisters. :) Thanks, again, for watching and sharing your own experience! -Mark

Great Videos! I'm watching you Carnival Venezia videos now. So far if you decided to chose one Cruise Line to build loyalty on which would you chose?
@thiscruiselife2 ай бұрын
Gosh, that is such a great question... and a hard one at that! I'm glad I stuck with Carnival in the beginning as it earned me loyalty, a couple welcome back parties/lunches, and priority boarding. At just 75 days, I was able to status match with several other lines, which was nice. With that said, I think it's important to look at what's important to you. With Royal Caribbean, at just 80 nights, you achieve Diamond status which provides 4 free drinks ($14 value) every single day of your cruise. But even at their top tier level, they only offer a $10 discount off of a $34.99 bag of laundry - which is really generic to us considering how much we use that benefit on both Carnival and Virgin Voyages (via status match). While it's hard to pick one, I can confidently say what I wouldn't choose and that's Princess. I did a deep dive on their program, and they've essentially removed all of the benefits of loyalty if you simply pay for their Princess Plus or Princess Premiere program. If you're curious, you can learn more here: www.thiscruiselife.com/cruise-blog/is-princess-cruises-loyalty-program-even-worth-it/ Hope that gives you a little bit to think about. Happy to answer any more questions, too, as I've done extensive research on each line's loyalty programs!! -Mark

@@cindyt987 they’re wonderful! So many fun little extras that they do to make it different from a regular 7-night cruise.

great honest review. We are avoiding Carnival since a cathastrophic Magic experience, perhaps we can try this one now.

@@cashand8 thankfully that was due to weather and not a captain mishap. Cruising is quite safe, and fun!

carnival conquest 3x. i agree the desert is lackluster but them cookiesssssss, they slap. only 2 production shows is meh. the cruise announcements are mega loud. all food for me was fine. still havent played in the casino. yes the kids waterpark is non-existent. this ship came out in 2002 so not sure how much longer it will be in service.
@thiscruiselife2 ай бұрын
@@autobotdiva9268 I’m craving one of those cookies right now! (And when I say one, I mean one plate of them, obviously!) Based on other cruise lines giving older ships new life, I think Conquest will live on for a while; question is: will it be with Carnival Cruise Line, a sister Carnival Corp. brand, or a smaller startup brand looking to acquire ships. She’s one of the oldest in Carnival’s fleet, so we’ll see!! What was your favorite part about Carnival Conquest?

@@thiscruiselife price, easy to navigate, many sail dates, party, kids camp, room and food. you see a lot of "shirts" on that ship also, meaning family reunions.
