It just amazes me how some cruisers were complaining about the food on board. With so much variety, there has to be SOMETHING that one must like a lot! Your excellent video showed how much effort Carnival put out on their buffet. We only used the buffet during lunch as we preferred the main dining room for breakfast and dinner. Thanks for sharing and bringing back some fond memories of our cruise. :)

Not all ships have the same menus.that actually looked good.last carnival cruise we took was on the Elation .food was terrible all 4 out of 5 days.hopefully when we go on paradise it looks that good.

MSC does have very good pizza. We were on the Divina and there was an Italian chef and his helpers rolling the dough and making the crust by hand. Unfortunately the rest of the MSC buffet was a bit underwhelming. Pizza Pirate was pretty good, though you're right about how busy it can get.

I was on the Carnival Pride recently and the buffet was kept in pristine condition and the food looked more appetizing than what you show. It tasted as good as it looked.

I'm a very particular eater and went on my first Carnival cruise last year. I was skeptical at first but found out there is PLENTY of the kind of food I liked and lots that I'd never tried before and wound up liking. We have two cruises booked for this year (in 2020) on the Fantasy for 5 days in April, and then later in November on the Glory for 14 days! Can't wait! Thanks for the awesome video!

It's not wrong to look forward to the food more than the cruise. I had gastric bypass in 2003 and I only weigh 130lbs and can only eat a little at a time but I was thinking the same thing. Cruise for the food,even tho I eat small amounts lol

If I remember correctly, the Carnival app does support that feature, at least for the current day's dinner. You can always ask a crew member or the wait staff and they can give you a heads up on which days they may have anything special.

Our daughter and our sin in law are treating us to our first cruise in March on board Carnival Valor. Well, my second cruise, but, my first one was 48 years ago and it was a 10 month cruise that was exactly a fun cruise. The wife has never seen blue waters so I'm anxious to see how she likes it. I can see by your video she will enjoy meal time for sure. It looks like my blood sugar is going to go through the roof with all of the desserts.

Been on over 30 cruises, 3 of them on Carnival. Carnival is on the bottom of my list for quality. That is the reason it is often the cheapest If that is all you can afford, go for it. Otherwise pic another cruise line

Love your food videos of buffet lines on the different cruise lines. But I am sure the cruise lines cringe when you show due to the fact That usually the food shown is picked through or depleted and does not give a good presentation . Your videos of specialty Restaurants are better because you show the presented meal or dish. The buffet lines are great for us to see the variety. Keep up The good work! 😀😀

No not at all. You can just leave after eating the dessert or actually any time you want, or even bring the food to eat at your cabin. In the main dining room if it you just took a bite or two of an appetizer or main entree occasionally the server might ask if there were anything wrong with it. We’d say we wanted to save room, or if didn’t like it we’d request a replacement dish. The service is very good 99% of the time.

Royal Caribbean has a better buffet, though Carnival has more complimentary interesting eateries. Main dining rooms are similar. So it's a toss-up, but very subjective to individual tastes as well!

Actually being severely malnourished would naturally decrease appetite as the stomach would shrink. The person would need to gradually increase their intake so the child would most likely not eat all that much as they would quickly get sick.

Yeah this wasn't the best cruise ship buffet we've seen, though certainly better than MSC. Holland America, Princess, Royal Caribbean (on their newer ships), and NCL all have better buffet. Carnival had good food in the main dining room, however, and their casual eateries (Guy's Burgers, Pizza Pirate, Blue Iguana) were quite tasty.

Well it's scary, even when I was vegetarian, I ate holistic food...this looks like mass produced cafeteria style food...I am goin on cruise in 3weeks and I am 7mth vegan, I am very worried about my choices...cakes out...most salads have fetta or butter or bacon bits etc...I am travelling alone, so for my double fare, looks like I am gonna get a bread roll, slices of cucumber or tomato perhaps a plain potato...

There were some nice variety of salads daily at the buffet, but I think you will enjoy the food at the main dining room more. I personally enjoyed their vegetarian dishes- the Indian ones were particularly good. @@bigbubblediver409 as I expected forget breakfast on lvl 9/buffet bacon sausages eggs...heart attack assured!!...Lunch: meat dishes,vegetable or beansoups cooked with beefstock,mashed pumpkin cooked in beefstock, lots of salads contain egg,or mayo or bacon bits , potato in cream sauce, vegetarian dishes in butter,cream,cheese etc...there r sliced cucumber, carrot,chickpea tomato ,lettuce,beetroot,olives,...u can ask the sandwich bar to make u falafel on their own.,..they hav homous, dosnt quite taste right.tho..pizza place u can ask for mushroom tomato pizza....forget asking chef or staff at buffet if they can make u anything vegan, they will send u to the salad bar...manager not much good either...1st 3days I ate fruit (watermelon,cantalope) and salad nd was a bid weak, had the "runs", due food...dining room.: .no vegan food on menu, vegetarian yes had 1choice_indian..had to speak to chef,or dining room mgr, or waitstaff every day..i was a bid frustrated!....I was not the only vegan on board...so they give u "chefs choice."..doesn't mean ur gona like what chef gives u..one dinner noodles tomato sauce, I asked em why didn't u add protein,? answer: 2moro...nxt day breakfast brought me noodle tomato sauce again...same another day tomato soup dinner, tomato soup breakfast..of course I rejected...then I decided to look at waiters little slip, and said yes or no to chefs choice, it was a battle at every meal..they also wanted to bring salat nd fruit...finally I got roasted muesli with soy milk,asked for banana,prunes, asked for scrambled tofu,2x looked like tofu soup._soggy!! Ask for avocado toast,no feta...ask for mushroom...dinner sometimes was ok, due to my insistence to prepare a nice meal...waitstaff very nice just need education on vegan eating..overall yes I got fed, but every1 else got many choices, nice deserts etc....finally other vegans told me they have soy ice cream so I asked waiter.. waiter said yes, I replied why did u never tell me...other passengers dont understand my food choice...2x some1 told me "I hate difficult passengers, its ur own choice.....people load up on hamburgers, pizza, ice cream, meat dishes, cakes..justice it is not..vegan is a struggle

Day...i enjoyed it with my eyes only!!...my travel agent advised ship that I am vegan, but it's not so good for us...I saw a vegan couple at buffet , all they had was a big plate of white rice...my travel agent advised ship that I was vegan nd as I'm not the only 1 I wd hav thought they wd cater for us...I spoke to head chef on the last nite nd he said " it is so easy to cook vegan, perhaps I should put 1vegan meal on the menu" ...my thinking is why cant they make vegetable meals without animal content, meat eaters can add their choice of flesh, fish,steak,hamburger...he was further astonished that their veg nd pumpkin etc contained animal stock...1night in the dining room I was happy to see they had a soy cake, so I asked the waiter,he spoke to chef nd I was told the cake was made with cow milk nd then soy milk was poured over the top...while I did enjoy the fruit and vegan salads, you can't eat that for 11days...

Did notice alot of obese people and look at the difference of the ones serving. Love cruises just too much fattening food.
