Great video. I love HMC! Those spheres are called reef balls or sometimes oyster balls. They are designed To promote coral or oysters to grow and start artificial reefs.

Being that this is carnival’s island do you use your sign & sail card for souvenir purchases or other methods of payment? Does the drink package extend to the island?

I’m pretty sure you cannot. In this video I believe I comment about putting a rock under back to allow airflow. I also show how to do it. If you did bring something, you’d have to take it to the very end of the beach to probably try.

How did you get on the first boat? I've heard that you have to get tickets or something? We rented an umbrella and it said you can get on the boat at 9am with the purchase of the umbrella? We were hoping to get on the island sooner than that.

It is a tender boat. You will go to the deck they provide and get on a smaller boat to transfer over. Don’t go by the time on the ticket. Find out when the first boat is ready to get on it.

You will need to bring towel unless renting a cabana.

@@mikefromnebraska I’m pretty sure they do supply four. When you get on the ship and get your cabana tickets I’d ask about the towels. Also, you have to pick your cabana. I’d do that soon when you get on the ship.
