Great video and thanks for the video. We just purchased the 8 day southern carnival cruise on the horizon for February 2025. We will celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary and plus the children will be on their winter break. We have a Christmas cruise coming up 2023 on the Mardi-gras. Im very excited. Take care

I don’t know why people have such trouble with horizon elevator. I think they are great and way better than standard elevator.

I really liked them as well. As long as they were used correctly it was more efficient. We’re back on the Horizon in December and I can’t wait!!

@@blendinglove1237 am thinking Of repeating horizon as well. I recently did celebration and while the ship is nice and the big chicken are GOOD!! My family and i all agreed that horizon was a better ship in a lot of ways.

It was really easy. You don’t pay until you leave. My only issue was the elevators. They took forever

Did they allow you to bring water on the cruise? I watched another video & the young lady claims you can bring a 12 pkg of sodas or water per person?

Unfortunately you can no longer bring bottled water, however you can still bring a 12 ok of sodas. I have also heard that you can find canned water and that’s allowed. I ordered water before embarkation day and had it sent to my cabin.

😆 we’ve actually never had a balcony. Normally a porthole or window. We said we were gonna try it but haven’t. We have had an inside and love the darkness.

For someone on a budget, or just likes to save $, interior is for you :) I personally am only in the room to sleep and change so a balcony or window isn't a big deal. And I know this is carnival review but I just experienced interior with a virtual balcony on royal caribbean and it was still nice. Very spacious room and the camera view was funny. When docking we would see into other boats and at night it was like static/black view but we just turned it off. I think I slept better due to the pitch blackness. Definitely need to set the phone clock without natural sunlight and change in time zones.❤

Elevator system is stupid. No way is every member of our party of six going to select the same floor. I think they only do this because they don't want you to know that you're going to stop at every floor on your way from deck 12 to deck 3.

I think that’s why so many people just took the stairs. They didn’t want to even deal with the elevators lol
