What a fantastic little museum to do on a rainy day in Ketchikan! That bit with the deck party was definitely taking a while but how fun you were part of Andy's "big jump"! Fun Times!

The day I was in Ketchikan got up to 72° with beautiful sunshine and not a drop of rain! I took the city trolley tour, which went all around town, and to where they carve totem poles. They told the history of how they’re bringing in the very old ones from different villages and re-carving them and painting them exactly like the old ones and taking them back to the village and then preserve the old ones in the area where they do the carving. It was a great tour that I really enjoyed and it only cost $34.

One of my favorite things to do on a cruise is to watch other ships arriving to and leaving from the dock. We always bring binoculars to see what ships are passing us at sea.

Hi from San Diego I am sitting here with 80° heat watching you in Ketchikan I am so excited to see all the shops we have been into on 11 of our 36+ cruises I love Ketchikan it’s my number one city to visit in Alaska. I love the cold rainy weather up there that’s what we go for I’m so bummed that you’re up there and we are not this year unfortunately from San Diego to Alaska is a long way to go without flying maybe next year if we’re lucky thanks for the great video blog

Carnival Spirit, eh? That was our first cruise/ship (Alaska 2008) . We swore we'd never cruise again. We're now Diamond on RCI and have been back to Alaska, so clearly we lied to ourselves. :)

When I was on Splendor with Andy in June, he did the same thing and I did leave after 10 minutes of that dance move, it was actually funny to re-live that scene. I agree it was excessive and killed my vibe.

Ahaaaaa, it was raining and our balcony floor was soaked that morning (I edited out a clip where I panned down and showed all the water, hah) so I didn't step out far enough to see the back of the ship with my eye holes... I was standing just inside the door looking at it on the tiny camera screen. I knew two Celebrity ships would be in port with us that day, so my 50/50 guess as to which one was docking at that very moment was was incorrect. Dang!! :P ~Jay
