Interesting that you have noted the fresh juice menu is actually available on the Luminosa. I looked hard when I was looking for the right ship and didn’t find that info anywhere! I know there are some people like myself who choose Splendor for this reason. This opens up another option, fantastic!

I love my Indian food and I have it at least once every cruise and can't wait to try Carnival Luminosa next month it is the first time I have been on Carnival

Nice video heard lots of bad stories abt splender but looks like things have changed after dry dock good video but i think that i will stick to princess after p & O finish with Melbourne You need to try princess may be if you approach them to offer you special rate since u going to give them free adversing truly princess is amazing Great video as always

We are actually trying Princess in April. I’m sure my husband and I will enjoy it but interested to see how the kids go since it doesn’t have their usual go-to activities.

Hi Amy We just got off a family cruise 10 days ago on The Carnival Splendor. A couple of days were rainy & everyone in the midship pool area, who were enjoying a movie, had to move undercover due to the bad weather. We were confused as this area has a retractable roof. Do you know, please if the retractable roof is broken?

Thank you for watching. From what I’m aware they are only able to open and close the roof when they are at port. I’m not sure of the exact details but that’s what I’ve heard.

As a couple would you say that luminosa would be the better ship? We are booked on the luminosa in December 2025 to great barrier Reef on a 7 might Cruise, its our First carnival cruise ❤

If you want less kids and don’t mind there not being slides and water parks, it is still a great option. I would pick it for the tacos and burritos. 🤤

Yes I definitely agree. When I explored the top decks it did not feel like a Carnival ship to me.
