1:25 - Don't worry if you actually are Venetian. There's only one post. 😁 A historical note: I have been to Venice, Italy and one prominent landmark consists of two posts with a lion on top of one and St. Theodore on the other. These posts are quite old, dating back as far as the 12th century. The Venetians told me it's very bad luck to walk between them because in the old days, they executed criminals. They made the condemned sit between the posts and look at the sea before the axe came down on his/her head!

Just now compared the Carnival Panorama (which we have been on) and the Venezia (which we are booked on), there were three eateries on Panorama and not on Venezia which we really enjoyed. They are Guys Pig and Anchor, Cucina Del Capitano and Ji Ji Asian Kitchen. These three eateries helped to spread out the population around the ship during Lunch and Dinner. Was wondering how congested Main Dining and the other Extra cost eateries will be at peak times. Also no Comedy Club. Yes there is going to be some areas more congested more than her fellow Vista Class Ships, it is likely to be so!

it has to be from the Costa days. the ship is still in dry dock as I type this in mid-May. no doubt this video is deceptively mis-titled. calling it the Carnival Venezia when it's from before the rebranding. it's good to get an idea from, but no one should expect to see everything exactly as it is here when they step on the ship.

I think this is video is a bit misleading. this video is of the COSTA Venezia. it's just now in dry dock getting it's changes to be the CARNVIAL Venezia. as a side note, I wish Carnival would keep the wax figures, but from what I've seen of their renderings, it doesn't look like that's likely.

After the absolute horrid reviews she got as a part of Costa and looking at this ship and just honestly reviewing what I see I understand it is Italian themed but that doesn’t mean every single bar has to be incredibly gaudy especially for a new ship! 🤦‍♀️😏

keep in mind that this video is of the ship still branded as Costa even though they've titled it as Carnival Venezia. this is pre-dry dock. Carnival is, of course, making changes to it to put it more in line with Carnival's branding while keeping the Italian theming. don't make a judgement on the ship without seeing it after dry dock.
