Carnival Venezia to Saint John New Brunswick Canada. Walk around town

My hometown is very beautiful it has changed a lot and it is the oldest incorporated city in Canada and the first city founded by the Europeans and everybody in Quebec thinks that Montreal is the first place but it's not but Saint John is where it all started for Canada and the first paved Road in the country is one of the main streets you were on and that is Prince William Street but yes very historical and there is a lot of videos from over 100 years ago about the city I'm glad you enjoyed it because it is a beautiful city and worth going to over and over again

Carnival makes really good towel animals. When you close out the casino it makes it hard to sometimes wake up early. if you walk down that street, turn right, up the hill and the historic shopping mall will be on the left. I buy a lot of coffee from Java Moose in the shopping center. Parks on the other side of the historic shopping mall. That is the park where people moved to St. John because they didn't want to live in the United States. They wanted to be Royal subjects. Costa Cruises in in town. That area near the ship is fairly new. When I was there last year they had just about finished it. My last two passports didn't have one stamp on it. You missed the reversing waters. You didn't go to St. Thomas and see the British cannons pointing toward the Massachusetts's Bay Colony. Lots of history up that way. Wait until you go to PEI and Quebec City.

We were there last year on a cruise. Such a great town with so many cool shops and restaurants. We had a cold dreary rainy day as well. Lol.

My wife and I was on the same cruise, yes I saw us in the video at the 501 Container spot, you were behind us while filming, I'm the big guy while walking back to the terminal to get back on the ship.❤

Hi! Thank you :) We never made it to the market but when you get off of the ship that first rd in front is pretty flat. The town itself has a lot of hills tho if you are planning on exploring

I am from Saint John, hopefully you made your trip and enjoyed the city. To answer your question, The city market connects to other shopping areas. I am quite confident you can access the system by wheelchair by starting in the shopping area at the base of the hill. There are elevators that take you to different elevations and eventually lead to the city market. The city market itself is on a hill and so it would require a bit of uphill inside.
