I hope you guys wore lots of sunscreen! I went to Nassau about a month ago and I wore A LOT of sunscreen AND reapplied and I was fried.... side note: I highly recommend the 'Swimming with the Pigs' excursion. So fun!

Spent a day pass at Margaritaville For 45 a person it was well worth it. Loved the lazy river and the slides. Along with their private beach. We ate at one of the conch vendors on Junkanoo.

Nassau in the Bahamas has become two commercialized. Particularly as you get off of the boat. That whole area is built to funnel through so the vendors can hound you and her harass you buy junk. It seems to me that we did not have very much time there during our trip in 2010. I did get a chance to walk the main street a bit and I actually stopped off at the Hard Rock Cafe and had lunch there. I did a Google search for it today and noticed that it’s closed apparently. I guess hard times are hitting even the Bahamas. I noticed this evening that you are dining in an area that is not what I consider fine dining. It seems to be more casual. We had our meals in a fine dining restaurant every night. That was what we chose I guess but we had white tablecloths on the table, along with all the fancy silverware, and Glasses and goblets and whatever else there was. They also had wine on the table, etc.

They stopped the white tablecloths a few years ago when the lady that's over Carnival now started as president. She has stopped a lot of stuff that used to be standard.

Will Yall need to do a Norweigan Cruise for your anniversary next year. We had a suite that included Bulter and inside Dining. We did it for our 10year anniversary. It was so worth it. Just one time was good for me. I felt feel fancy lol 😂😂

You guys showed great stamina in the 90 degree heat. We first cruised to Nassau many years ago when Paridise Island was undergoing a name change from Hog Island. The guy who bought it wanted to change the name to a more apealing name for tourists. They were also just starting to build the Atlantis resort at that time. The bridge was closed due to construction. Thanks for the great filming.

We sailed Allure of the Seas back in May. The buffet, Main Dining and pizza were okay 😐. What we enjoyed most was the ice skating and water show they were incredible !! The size of the ship 🚢 was nice but the Allure has no water or dry slides. The ship is going in for a refresh in 2025.
