Join host Peter Gonzalez as he takes us on a virtual tour of the first-of-a-kind onboard activity. SkyRide is a great addition for adventure seekers. Cruisers can pedal in hanging cycles with the ability to travel up to 25 miles an hour. Suspended hundreds of feet in the air, cruisers will take in a breathtaking panoramic view of the sparkling blue ocean waters.
Peter begins with a trip to Minnesota to meet with Scott Olson, inventor and engineer of SkyRide. Scott Olson gives us a rundown on how SkyRide works. Peter then moves onto the actual ship, Carnival Vista, showcasing the challenges of bringing such an intricate feature onto a ship. I love the series and all the video of the ships design and construction. The behind the scenes stuff is amazing. I would love to have seen even more. Maybe there was some stuff edited out or even blooper reel that you could add. One small critique, the intero for the videos could be a little shorter, not the exact same thing every time. Again Thanks for a great series! I added links to it from my vacation share site from our recent cruise with 16 of us and lots of celebrations, an 80th birthday, a 30th wedding anniversary and and another birthday of a family member turning 29... again. ;-)
