I'm proud of you bud! 230 down to 175 myself. 270 was my heaviest ever. We'll get there! Everything your saying mirrors my own experiences, the lack food wanting some days or eating more, the problems with processed sugar, the extra skin (how much does it weigh?) and how much more weight loss are you past that really if you subtracted that mind game.. Get some new clothes that fit, I know you say your tired of buying new shirts - but you gotta think about how those are going to your shirts going forward, those will be like a wall that hold you financially/mentally accountable - that you ain't going back, you aren't going to let yourself slide back into fitting those xxl's. Anyway, the take away as I've learned - don't let other people tell you how your losing weight is bad/not right when they have no results themselves, especially family. They don't know what it really takes to commit to something like we're doing unless they've done it themselves. You know what's right and healthy for you, and how your going to get your results. I didn't do carnivore like you, but it's working for ya, so I got nothing to say but respect. Again, so proud to see you find that resolve to do it, and keep doing it - for real man.

Sorry, this may be a long comment. I actually started carnivore at the end of February. I was at a point where I was way to heavy and getting lazier. I said enough is enough. I started it cold turkey. My beginning/heaviest was 369. A total embarrassment for myself. I had a lot of other issues as health also. Long story short, I've lost 80 pounds +-. I feel great! Great enough not to return to sugars. What you explained in this video, I agree with you one hundred percent! Awesome job! I thought about a video as well about my journey.

Good for you Nick, you are an inspiration to many. Have you considered adding back some complex carbs (not refined carbs) back into your diet? From what I've researched, complex carbs are important for your health? Or am I wrong here? avoid - refined sugars, processed foods, refined carbs, alcohol I might be wrong, and every persons body/genetics may be different and require different foods, but something for you to consider.
@NickolasGreenOutdoors2 ай бұрын
I am going to stick to no carbs for a while. Maybe eventually i will add some though.
@user-rz5zw4th1r2 ай бұрын
@@NickolasGreenOutdoors Yes you are on the right path Nick, that's the ideal protocol! Stick with carnivore diet until you reach your ideal target weight. Then, slowly add back whole food/complex carbs to your diet (try to minimize/eliminate refined/simple carbs). The ideal target ratio for carbs:protein is 50:50 in the long-run (see here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/farYcmV4icuWpKM) - @ 1:14:15 where he discusses the ratio of carbs:protein and life expectancy. I wish you the best Nick. Cheers!

You are looking great nick! Weight loss isn't an easy journey by any means. We are constantly tempted to consume things that are unhealthy and cause an excess of fat. So to have an natural drive to pick and chose what to eat is really impressive. You are slimming down and it's noticeable. I'd think the next step- is to find some clothes that are a few sized smaller and even an extra pair that is much-much smaller, would be the goal to fit in them. Anyway you look good man keep up the good work! It's so important to take care of your body and you set a great example!

Congrats Nickolas on your continued weight loss success. You should get a couple new T-shirts just for the visual reminder of your progress. I recently jumped on board the carnivore diet bandwagon and am saving good initial success. From what I have read of long term carnivore dieters is that you are in stage 3 - fat adapted other wise known as easy street. Once you burn off all of your excess fat, you'll hit stage 4 where you will be ravenously hungry. You'll have to eat more fat and protein as your body has none left to burn.

Have you tried prebiotics and probiotics? It balances your gut flora and the goal is to make sure what you take in, comes out the same day so you get the full benefits of what you eat without it sitting where it can turn to fat... I was almost prediabetic and prebiotics turned it around. It's just vitamins and AG1, look into it if you haven't already. 😁❤

Nick! Way to go! Happy to see you enjoying your program and getting the gains you’re looking for 🎉🙌🔥🔥🔥 It’s amazing how different everyone is. I’ve eaten plant based for decades. I’m in my 50s and I run ultramarathon distances, I climb mountains all the time, and I’ve always been optimal body mass. Staying away from packaged, processed “food” is the most important IMO. Tater Tots and Oreos are what’s killing everyone. Eat meat, eat plants, whatever, just stay away from that other garbage. It isn’t food, it’s poison. You’ve figured it out before most people do.

When someone eats healthy for a long period and then switches to unhealthy, they'll feel sick. When someone eats unhealthy for a long period and then switches to healthy, they'll also feel sick.
