Actually, i'm so into music that I learned english much faster than my classmates (I'm Chilean, spanish is my birth language), and it helped me to decide to become an english teacher. That's a common thing to people that listens to this kind of music down here. Try to get your son to this music slowly. Try to start with Sabbath, Tool and a little of Maiden. Once he really likes it, show him Carnivore and TON
