I love this car. I first spotted it back in 2014 when I travelled to Qatar, quite a popular car here in the Gulf, even the police and army folks are fond of it. I have driven it and I must say it's powerful, quick, reliable and an off road beast. When it comes to sand dunes and desert safaris it performs exceptionally well.

The biggest mistake Toyota did against the FJ Cruiser is failing to have a diesel engine option. The vehicle is now no longer being manufactured, the thirsty 4.0 V6 needs rich Arabs

1GR engine isn't bad especially long distance driving it's poor on local driving especially where you have alot of traffic jam my dad has a j120 with that engine and it's nice and quick...It's very fuel friendly long distance driving

Toyota would have put the 2.8 GD turbo diesel from the prado in the FJ cruiser....For those who would love good fuel economy.....it was my dream car but upon the realization that it was only offered in a 4.0lt petrol......I changed it as my dream car

I drove one for 2yrs. The issues I had were blind spots, ladies in skirts could not step into the vehicle easily, kids had trouble accessing, I replaced the windshield twice during this time. So, it has its issues, but it’s an awesome ride. Oh, it was intended to be a Coupe!

There's no middle ground for the FJ, if you love it, you are wowed by it but if you hate it, you really hate it. As for me, this is my dream vehicle. Since 2022 was the last year of production, I'm certain there will be a number available when I get 6 million. 😂 Edit: I think most people who buy FJs are more of enthusiasts that just people looking for a car.

If you look closely, you can see FJ Cruiser design cues on the first gen Toyota Porte. The most obvious being the tail lights and C-pillar. Ama I am seeing my own things?

I have being driving FJ for more than 13 years now, and I’m still driving the same FJ. I love my 2010 FJ Cruiser Trail Team Edition, currently have over 250,000 miles. I will give the FJ 8.0 because the suicide door is not so practical, visibility and leg room for the back seat are limited, and the FJ also have a drinking problem. Sorry fanboys😂
