This is really one of the best arabic songs! It unites everyone despite their nationalities and color! I love the idea. Carole is a very good choice! Her voice is so powerful and expressive! Oussama el Rahbani and Mansour El Rahbani ROCK ROCK ROCK!!!! We need those kinds of songs in our Arab world. After all even ART has not origin! ;)

An AMAZING piece of art, from lyrics, to orchestra, to voice.... Just Breathtaking! I wish we can have it with English Subtitles... Certainly something I would love to share with non-Arabic speaking people...I know many who would really benefit from seeing such a song and orchestra and be able to read the lyrics.

If all people thought like this, the world would be a much better place. Allah yir7amak ya Mansour Rahbani. I took the liberty of translating the lyrics of this song, just as a small tribute to this great artist. I'm sure, had he been among us, he would write it much more beautifully in English. This is not an official translation.

@lovelyaltagracia I know classic arabic songs and when they sing, the voice is not so loud compared to the music. I didn't say she was shouting, but that the volume is much harder than the music and don't really match... most classic singers are more "softer/smoother"... I don't know how else to explain what I mean :S

Lebanon is made of 17 + ethnic group, not all of them are the same, the louder voices always get heard first and it leaves the longest impressions, Lebanese people are great and I can hardly remember one that is arrogant, so you may have to look into yourself first, if you are a Syrian then you are excused.

@noorzayd Part 2: in the start of the 3rd millenium, there are still those in exile, and those who are emprisoned for years and years. @3:06 (in the following verse I theorize she speaks of the 2 lebanese christian leaders, of which she didn't say their names simply because when this song was out the syrians where still functioning in lebanon..) Let us in the start of this era, as the world misses justice @3:23 End oppression, End Fear, and meet in justice @3:26 Repeat verses from @2:19 - @2:31

So dont leave negative comments about others if u want to unite "Arabs" who will want to unite with people such as yourself who slander Lebanese people??? Why would my people want to proudly unite with someone who is proud that there are other haters such as yourself who trash talk Lebanese. Before you preach unity, please promote it fully, practice what you preach, otherwise ur just a hypocrite. P.S I dont care who agrees with ur racist and prejudice comments :) Im an arrogant Lebanese, kiss it

Ok you want to get into politics, we Lebanese did not start a civil war for the Iraqis or ask the Americans to invade. And we did not sell Palestine to the Israelis. BUT the fact is, Lebanon was invaded three times by the Israelis because of our Arab brother neighbors. And our civil war was caused by the PLO and my country was occupied for over 20 years because of the Arabs by the Israelis. AND, the Arabs allowed the PLO to built a state within a state in my country.. SO my dear, ur ignorant
