I woke up feeling buried in shame and guilt. This was the first video on my feed, and I feel so much lighter. Trying to rewire my brain now. Thank you Carol! ❤

Thank you Carol. I am going through a lot and was guided to watch your U Tube sessions after asking Holy Spirit for guidance. Any books you can suggest on reading to get to unconscious guilt?

It has helped me to change the word, "guilt" to "shame". Wondering how others might think about that. Guilt is about something I have done; shame is about something I AM. I really wonder why Jesus, in ACIM, uses the word, "guilt"? I mean take it for what it's worth, but as someone who works in the field of mental health, I know how working through shame, first, helps with that process of working through guilt and moving toward healing, including with relationships. That word "guilt" tripped me up for years where ACIM went; switching to seeing the *shame* truly opened it up for me. We all get our guidance, don't we, when sincerely asking for help with the Course.

The loophole is that your inner thoughts are influenced by your outer environment and your inner environment (microbiome/cell health/etc..). For instance as someone dealing with environmental "illness" (CIRS/MCAS/MCS) after being poisoned I have completely different thoughts when I am taking a binder then when I am not taking a binder. The microparticle toxins have a direct effect on one's mental health. (And I did not know a thing about environmental "illness" before I got sick or as some would say hyper sensitive. I had no clue what was happening to me, no clue I was poisoned.) Taking binders, detox herbs, and using my air purifier make it so I can actually focus and be optimistic enough to read ACIM. I am really not able to think positive thoughts when in horrific pain, dealing with many symptoms, and the overall neurotoxicity. The difference is like night and day for me. Did my thoughts create this illness subconsciously? On the collective, shared mind level, yes, if we are to believe the ego created all in this world. Individually, according to all the thoughts in my mind this lifetime, I do not think so. Sharing this in case it helps someone.

I'm amazed, I needed help with the daily lessons and turned it over to the Holy Spirit. Carol Howe seems to be his answer. She's Great. KC

how does this differ from garden variety positive thinking? Judging things as "good" is still judging and course teachers advise us not to make a difference between positive events and negative events because no positive events are in themselves fulfilling and the satisfaction is short lived, soon to replace by the ego mind of fear and lack.
