Nope.. as a craftsman that has spent years restoring Craftsman homes in Santa Barbara, CA. You got this 100 percent WRONG.. do not paint the con heart Douglass fir trim white.. That was the purpose of the home, to display the Craft skill of the carpenters that made your home. That's like roller painting a Ferrari. People that paint over that expensive trim should not be allowed to own the home.
