That descending Mello line at 1:06 is what made me pick up the mellophone(I'm a bassoonist so I could pick whatever I wanted) for marching band and join a drum corps. I remember seeing this show live in High School.

I was also a bassoonist. I picked baritone because it usually plays the same part and reads the same clef as bassoon. The mouthpiece also felt natural and way easier to use. I also just really like the low brass sound most. Mello would’ve been my second choice just because they get the cool counter-melodic/harmonic parts, but reading treble clef and playing into that tiny mouthpiece would’ve been a pain to pick up.

Where is the Tocatta and Fugue in D minor in this? It says on the Wikipedia page that it's in the show, but I don't really hear it anywhere
