Mr.Mitchell was a student teacher at my school for a month or so, his last was last week but he came back to direct our March, coast guards! He is a great teacher and is cool to see his old marching with the Carolina Crowns

How do you like not die? I one parade with my baritone saxophone and I feel like I'm going to pass out. Then again Trumpet < Bari Sax in weight

Well, drum corps members tend to go through a few weeks of spring training before tour starts. Which consists of physical training and building up your body's endurance, as well as learning the drill and music. AND THEN they tour the country performing.

Bari is hard to carry but trumpet is deceptively hard because your lips give out much more easily when you play all day like they do

It was rainy during a lot of this rehearsal. We wouldn't wear gloves if the instruments were wet.
