I thought I was the only one who prefers this over Prive. In all FB groups, I hardly see anyone talking about this anymore. I own both vintage and current and there's hardly much difference to justify the price. You're absolutely bang on bro, people blow "reformulation" out of proportion sometimes. Good job as always 😊

I just found the 2009 version in my attic after leaving it up for over 7 years. It smells amazing and last a long time! I will hold and spray sparingly. It’s a very underrated cologne.

I have the original version with the red tassel as well. I didn’t like it at first but it really does smell amazing. My only problem with it, is it smells a bit feminine for my liking.

Bro! This is crazy! I literally just picked up a bottle Monday of this juice (CH Men) 1.7 oz for $55 bucks off Ebay! It IS indeed the original formulation 2010. Cause I looked up the bar code. I know you aren’t into that much, but I honestly can say it’s really really good smelling stuff! For some reason I don’t get the grassy note that you are getting with it 💁‍♂️. Maybe it’s my nose, but all in all a very well blended crafted juice that’s top notch at what it does. Definitely La Nuit, little leaning metro, more sweet than La Nuit and less on the powder cardamom note that La Nuit blasts you with on initial spray. Overall assessment IMO... 9.0 9.5. Thanks Dallas for your take on this great fragrance! Take care brotha!

I do have the original formulation also and it draws a lot of attention. Definitely a unique and attractive combination. At first the grass note was too much for me but as I got used to it the blend was great. Planning to use this now for early fall. Always great reviews. Keep it going 👍🏻

Great vid. I'm here to say that without smelling the vintage I own the newer version and it's right in line with everything I hear anyone say about the old formula. Grassy, sugary, leather. Great stuff! I stole a bottle at a bargain boutique for like $15!!! Couldn't believe it. Take care.

Was lucky to pick up some of this last week. I do like it but I must admit I have other options that I like more. I much prefer Prive and if I’m looking at a designer that to me gives off a lot of leather but just prefer is Guerlain Ideal EDP. Just prefer the cherry and almond added compared to this with the sugar feel but this is nice hard to imagine anyone not liking it

Your holding a 2012 bottle.. I owe both these and the reformulation. They smell the same, but the pre 2012 version last a bit longer. But it last tops 6 hours.

First formulation isn't so sugary as You say, it's mostly grassy, and not in dry down, but from begining. Last formulation (with gold on bottle) is mostly leather scent, no grass at all. I had 1 x 50 ml of first formulation, 2 x 200 ml of last formulation, 3 x 200 of second and I have now 2 x 50 ml and 1 x 100 ml of first formulation. It's not a good idea to say for people that last formulation is good, it is not. And only first formulation is magic, second maybe too, but not 3rd for sure.

Tried this in Perfumania at the mall and it smelled like dirty mop water (not exaggerating). Maybe they had an old bottle IDK. I'll buy a sample at some point to really try this one out.

That's correct. Prive is a boozy leather masculine scent, whereas CH Men is more of a burnt sugar, grassy leather scent with a bit of vanilla. This one goes more metrosexual like La Nuit etc. Prive is more masculine
