I wonder if sometimes guys are let go because they simply aren’t a good personality fit for the players or other coaches. Or maybe the other coaches have noticed these coaches who were let go didn’t exhibit the same work ethic or can-do attitude. These type of firings might not always have to do with direct performance on the field. And sometimes some of these departing coaches might express a desire to move on because they have buddies on other teams who are offering them opportunities and they want a fresh start.

Evero finishing his contract and not having to pay a new DC is a money move, as well.

I would draft some defensive players that could fit the 3-4 or 4-3 just in case Evero cant get it right.

A lot will depend on what our defense looks like with a healthy Derek Brooks back at nose guard. He changes the dynamics along the front four or front three. We keep talking about generating a pass rush, but if we don’t have a bona fide center presence that commands a double team consistently that makes it difficult for your edge rushers to be as effective as we desire as panther fans. Let’s not swap draft picks and give the future away every day is a gamble whether we’re here or not. Let’s send positive thoughts and prayers that Brooks returns at 100% and that immediately impacts the inside five players for our defensive structure. I appreciate your thoughts and opinions, but let’s not do what we’ve done in the past. Keep Pounding!
