Hey Dave! Thanks for watching and listening!! I'm really glad you asked about the head because I love talking about him. The head is a Binaural Recording device, meaning that when you listen to this recording with headphones, it will sound and feel like you are actually there. Because of the shape and placement of the microphones, you get a sensation that the sound is coming from in front of and behind you, not just left and right. I dont know if that actually clears it up at all. I love binaural recording and I do a lot of binaural production work.

cailen2010 well yeah pretty much! But in headphones the audio should sound more full - like you are standing in the circle of the band.

It defeats the purpose of a "real" binaural music video, if you don't mount the binaural microphone directly on the camera...This is a video with binaural audio, not a binaural music video...

IT's definitely better to not watch the video to avoid that disorientation.

It would also be better if you get a real binaural microphone set with the rubber ears, where the microphones are smaller and inside the ears. Not cheap, but the difference is easy to hear.
