WTF is wrong with that interviewer? HOLY SHIT! She's like some kind of cold, icicle, crystallised, frozen character without much kindness at all! Whereas Caroline is so chill and nice and sweet...the contrast is just too big, really. Poor Caroline looks so confused about her. it's a total mystery to me that they chose Hillingsøe to do the interview. Did they think she would outrun De Maigret, what a laugh. De Maigret is 109% casual rock and roll, where as Hillingsøe mingles with the snobs of the Danish aristocracy, these two couldn't be any more far from eachother. I adore de Maigret, no fake about her.

I don’t know what people mean that the interviewer was rude or arrogant. When Caroline would speak she didn’t interrupt her or talk over her. Did I miss something? One rude thing she did do is when she was looking at her phone when Caroline was answering a question and she asked her in a very Parisian way “are you playing with your toy?”. That was brilliant. Also appreciated that Caroline was honest about how she does not agree with the stereotype Parisian idea that of sharing your mate and she strongly disagrees with that thinking. She doesn’t want to share and honestly no one she knows likes it.

I didn’t get rudeness at all. If anything, it came off as ‘awkwardly trying to find an English equivalent of a specific word in my native tongue’ like with the ‘faux pas’ mistranslation. I actually bought the book because I love Caroline de Margaret, and the funny part about the cheating page is that it’s opposite a photo where it has the dotted guidelines for cutting it out 😂

The mood permeating this Interview has all of the trappings of an Intensely Pensive Interrogation in a Police Station; of atypically somber guardedness by Caroline, a normally GREGARIOUS AQUARIUS sign by Nature; wary of the Interviewer's next move. And, Ellen carefully moving Chess Pieces all over THE Checker Boarded Interview Format ; strategically AWAITING the next wrong Response to TRAP Caroline, with an Interview Ending Question , that Silences HER into a Game Ending CHECKMATE. The TENSE mood is THE giant elephant in the seemingly Empty, Silent , Solitary Confinement Room; with only Caroline's mesmerized Ghost present; in SHOCKED disbelief of the GALL of the interviewer, to be SO OBNOXIOUSLY CONDESCENDINGLY DISRESPECTFUL.

This is what is wrong in the world. Women judging women. You have all something to say about it. I only see two strong interesting women having a conversation and that seems to threaten other women watching in the comfort of their home. And how easy it is to judge from there.........Someone pointed out that there may be a cultural difference as the interviewer is Danish. I enjoyed it cause these women like so many before them, are trying to have a togetherness and not a division. Sad, how intimidated women feel by other women instead of wanting to learn from them. By the way the book is really good, so maybe all you JUDGES should read it. Happy Reading.

As a woman who is also Latin like Caroline this entire interview made me uncomfortable. Women are BORN women period. There is no ambiguity. When our bodies rot and the flesh falls off science will look at our bones and say female or male. There is nothing wrong holding the door for women, I think it is disrespectful to not hold the door open for the woman or pull out her chair. This does not "limit" a woman as Ellen suggested. It doesn't demean women in any way. Ellen seems a bit uptight like some of the nuns we had in school. It was a VERY unnatural ending like what the WhiskyTangoFoxtrox! No goodbye????

Spoken like some with Le Nutsack. Here's a Tip Toots. Women like to learn about other women. We like to see women share their lives regardless of how exotique, vastly different they may be. Women long to see themselves. Caroline models for Chanel; she's not the every day woman. But she's a kind of trailblazer in a way. She's braking the illusions and destroying the expectations of French female behavior and culture. She's unconventional even in her beauty. Because she's influential in fashion and now in social dialogue- it's a positive impact. Intersectional feminism? Meh. But it's still a kind of movement. Women are conditioned since birth to behavior a certain way- we are seen as ornamental, groomed to be desirable and after childbearing age ... discarded and devalued. Yes there are biological factors that shape our notions of women but those are also sexist and limiting. Women are changing in the way they value themselves- see themselves. It's quite liberating.
