Caroline Kennedy Urges Senate To Reject Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Nomination | 10 News First

Former US Ambassador to Australia Caroline Kennedy has urged the US Senate to reject the nomination of her cousin, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as Donald Trump's health secretary, describing him as a "predator" addicted to power.
In a letter to senators and a video posted online, she criticised his controversial views on vaccines, calling them disqualifying.
She also shared personal experiences from their childhood, alleging that his basement and dorm were centres of drug use.
This plea comes as Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is scheduled to appear before the Senate Finance Committee on Wednesday in a bid to have his Health Secretary position confirmed.

A half truth is often actually a lie. As someone who has worked in bird rehab, including for hawks, it should be known that if a raptor comes in injured, orphaned or sick, one has to blend (soften) dead prey like tiny birds, mice etc to then tube feed the hawk, eagle or owl deep into their crop if they cannot feed themselves. Small birds and mice are exactly the natural prey for raptors so it is in fact the best food for their body and for a successful rehabilitation. It astounds me the lack of general knowledge humans have about our avian friends, which we all love and admire. It makes perfect sense if a very young Robert Kennedy had a sick, injured or an orphaned baby or juvenile bird in his charge he may have had to tube feed at times by softening DEAD mice etc. Bird rehabilitation is often not pretty, involves mess, dedication and hard work. Looking on as a layperson one could easily not 'get it' so I say shame on this woman for twisting what is obviously a gross misunderstanding and half truth.
