Hi Everybody,
A mystical experience is an experience of the nature of what can't be seen, of the nature of the sacred, of the nature of something holy. And I think we have a mechanism in us, a need to be in awe. We want to have experiences that somehow position our physical life as secondary to a much greater atmosphere.
I am really pleased to tell you that starting next week, my dear friend Mirabai Starr will be doing a new class with us called "Becoming an Everyday Mystic." Mirabai is an authentic mystic, and she is deeply and profoundly in touch with spiritual truths that are so worth sharing. I put pressure on her to do this class, because I thought the subject matter is so beautiful and so timely.

I'm very grateful for your wisdom and teachings. Your wisdom has changed my thinking about my circumstances especially living with my granddaughter who started having seizures last year. I think that spiritual direction will come if you begin that dialogue. If it becomes a preoccupation, over time you get a dialogue in return. Thats just been my experience. I feel sorry for people who are so proud of their atheism. It has to be a cold and lonely place.

I'm not an atheist, and I can't imagine a life without spiritual dimensions, but many atheists say their lives are happier, freer, and their families more full of love because of their atheism. That's because they've left behind the Abrahamic assumption that we are born wrong and have to work very hard to make up for it, and we probably won't (the story of Eden, for starters), and we'll be horribly punished. "Obey or be punished" and sometimes "obey AND be punished" is the major theme of the Bible. This notion that atheists have no moral compass and are "cold and lonely" is really bigoted. You might want to go on an atheist channel and get acquainted with a few, instead of just your ideas of who they are.

My partner is one of the most beautiful pple I know who finds awe in everyday life, his walk is full of integrity and charity without needing credit. He doesn’t claim to “know anything for certain” and stays curious about learning. He has purpose & meaning. He is not lonely nor cold. He has a definite moral compass and a great capacity for love. Compared to most spiritual seekers or Judaeo-Christians I personally know, most of which have giant egos & arrogance and act like “Bullies for God”, he actually lives much closer to what Christ intended than any of them. He listens, he learns, he is not “prideful” and he does not give unsolicited advice. He values his family and lives as if every day is a gift. This myth that atheists are soulless, hostile & without a moral compass is OLD & TIRED, untrue & damaging.

I started with Yoga, studied morphic fields (Rupert Sheldrake), astrology + many more aspects about 50 years ago ... traveling the world ... suppose always keeping (subconsciously) my question as a 5 year old to my grandmother: And where did god come from? She was right saying i'd get the answer if i'd never stop asking WHY ... Tesla, Heisenberg - quantumphysics - got me closer (+Rosicrucian teachings) but only after listening to Robert J Gilbert (sacred biogeometry) and Matias de Stefano I knew I arrived ... And feeling happy that all the time since Agypt + Mexico I loved the sun as my spirit source

It’s very hard for a lot of people to define their beliefs. I agree with you 1000% and it’s so emotional for me to hear this. I’ve always believed in female divinity, in Goddess. I also believe in Jesus but I’m not certain in what context. I don’t believe in the Bible as such. I need a new language for the God l believe in. The religions I’ve looked at just don’t fit how l feel God. Nature is my biggest inspiration and source of faith. I love this, thank you so very much.❤️

“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. WHAT WE THINK WE BECOME.” - Buddha. Our essential nature is "that from which thought and awareness arises". The Garden of Eden story indicates that "Mankind is created in the image and likeness of God". God describes Himself to Moses as I AM, THAT I AM. Or I AM that from which thought and awareness arises. There is an endless list of attributes connected with that, (God) but if we put them all in one basket, we can name it "Consciousness". Or that which both "Creates and Experiences." Everything has at least one or more attributes of Consciousness, but Mankind has them ALL. And that is enough to "create our own reality", or as Buddha indicated "What we think we become".

I understand what you are saying from an intellectual viewpoint that there is an inherent desire for a spiritual experience. I have never been able to have one without augmentation, i.e. psycadelics. Meaning is subjective. I am 57 and have not found any true meaning just personal meaning which is fleeting.
