She is EPIC! This is suuuuch a great interview. It's so refreshing to see someone with so much passion and fire using it to teach and change lives. Caroline Myss is not your soft spoken yogi/yoga teacher, she is more like the world champion coach, shaking the sleeping giant and hero within us all, so that we can get back in the game and go win to Super Bowl of life...and activate our own personal spiritual pursuit daily. I read the comments and a lot of people are intimidated by her power to be raw and in your face. But, l believe it is very well needed- especially in todays society. She balances out the playing field. She has not become a world renowned teacher and best selling author of multiple books for no reason. She obviously resonates with hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people around the world, with her passionate delivery. Her delivery and teachings will challenge you to step out of ego, comfort zone and search with for your authentic self and to also apply what you have learned and not just put it on a shelf somewhere, but to truly apply it as a way of life, spirituality and devotion. She awakens the part of you that was sleeping, complacent and running from your higher purpose. If you allow your ego to behave and not overshadow the message that is being channeled through her, she will truly asset you to awaken on an entirely higher level, frequency and dimension. Hello Awakening ones, I have been on this journey for decades, and have enjoyed Carlolyns books on occasion. She certainly does not resonate with me now after hearing her with Lilou here. She came across (to me) as condescending, arrogant, negative and rude. This was not an interview but an egoistic monologue of all things Carolyn the Great. lilou, hats off for trying. Ms Myss, I bow to your superiority but seek no lofty airs with my ascension. I prefer to dance with we mere mortals striving to know what we really are in joy and love.

Wise lady. I would like to hear Caroline Myss' definition of prayer. It is one thing to say people need to pray but that is pointless if people have different understandings of what prayer is. Words are inadequate tools when trying to deal with the undefinable subject of the infinite and eternal but that is all we have to work with in the present state we believe ourselves to be in. Caroline Myss seems pretty cool to me. I see from the posts of a couple of people here that she offends them and of course they blame her for that. That's because Myss has gotten to the point where she is not willing to sugar coat the truth as she knows it. She's not willing to be dishonest anymore or pussyfoot around the truth so that our precious egos don't get bruised. I can see how she would be threatening to a lot of people because what she says threatens their version of reality. We might have to actually look at our selves honestly and when we do that we see how dishonest we really are. She shines a light into places we don't want to look. Our discomfort is our darkness trying to squirm away from the light. There are many paths back to Source/God and they all differ, some faster than others, and some may even seem to be contradictory, but they will all get to there goal, not because of their form but because of their common purpose.

i just read many many comments on here... it is almost scary, and absolutely disheartening that people seem to be arguing over her this much. and in such a 'love her' or 'hate her' kind of way... i did *not* get any impression that Caroline was being mean, arrogant, negative, etc etc... she is talking about some very important, and very serious and sombre situations/issues in the world around us, as well as within us. how do you expect her to sound? i mean, if she was all smiles and jokes and 'Pollyanna Positive' about many of the issues she addresses here, *that* would make her seem totally out of touch with the world and the collective conscious, and inappropriate as well. i did not get the impression that she was being mean or nasty to the interviewer either. i mean, she compliments her very well at the end. i guess i can see why people are saying she or her energy feels different from her past work, but people do tend to re-evaluate themselves as they gain more insight... and again, if she was still saying the same exact things as her early talks, i think it would seem inappropriate, stagnant, and not show any growth, or lessons learned over time. also, understanding that she had a very serious experience with her health and seizures and all of the complications that go with it, i think she is still processing it. i am a nurse, and after 17 years of working i became very ill and spent almost a year in the hospital....like, 8 or 9 months out of twelve... and when she said that she felt 'helpless' when she was ill, because she kept thinking that she was supposed to be the one helping people heal, and not be the one in the hospital bed, i actually started crying... because that was *exactly* how i felt when i became a nurse's patient and not a patient's nurse... and believe it, people started to become very easily offended around/by me after having being so sick/in the hospital, because you just can not go through something like that and not change in some way, including not taking anyone's bullshit anymore... a brush with death can do that to you. i think people are confusing her sense of seriousness and maybe even stoicism, with arrogance or being mean or being 'negative' etc.... there are some serious gems of insight in this interview, and it is always interesting to see how people react to/take them. often their reactions tell you a lot more about them, than what she is saying. i am sure she has hit a few nerves in this video... maybe it isnt so much that she is being negative or mean, but that she is pointing out some things that people just dont want to, or are not ready to hear. so they take it as her being negative or nasty in her attitude.

***** you can't possibly believe that she meant that literally. and even figuratively, it was just her way of expressing her frustration with certain kinds of 'fluff' that unfortunately has infiltrated Sacred teachings in the new age movement. she is *not* some self-styled Guru... she herself will tell you she is only human, and humans *do* get frustrated sometimes. *especially* about things that are very important or sacred to them. please do not try to tell me that you yourself have *never* said something similar in a moment of frustration... we hear people all of the time saying things like "if you say that one more time i am going to slap you", or "please go tell someone who cares", or "ugh, if i hear one more word about her job i am going to vomit", etc... I think Caroline Myss is one of the greatest teachers of our time. To make judgements based on a (single) interview is not quite fair. She has had many seizures as she shared at the beginning, but she is courageous to do the interview and share her current thoughts and feelings. I love her books and teachings.

Wonderful times we live in that we can access such wisdom effortlessly. Such devoted teachers and interviewers. Without thousands of pounds or privilege. Such grace, as Caroline would say. She is rare in that she speaks so articulately with a tone of authenticity which can cut through, sometimes teachers need to do that, speak their truth, being authentic with those asking for it. In itself is a spiritual practice and clearly she is connecting with a lot of people asking for her. Truth is not always easy depending on where we are attached I guess. But she is helping. Hi Caroline, As most preteens I was a seeker in Kansas quiet alone I found the teachings of Eckankar ,the ancient science of soul travel. As attention is a powerful validating thing, guess that’s all I’m posting for. And that’s a positive reason why many must get online. Mankind has been through the gold age, the silver age, and bronze now the stone age the dark ages. But its not as bad as it sounds. Looking up and Realizing the light and listening to the sound is all one needs to get through. Your analogy of all being in a building with many levels up, describes the lower levels of our conscious, the duel worlds of existence by positive and negative we move through as soul, all day., beginning with physical, astral, causal, mental, etheric, we travel through every day of lives. Into the higher worlds of Soul is where our peace is. We have evolved through millions of lives learning the lessons of soul, beginning from mineral to plants to insects, evolving up through animal kingdoms into a man as we become more aware in order to grow. Then into a more conscious man who is aware of and can control how his cause does effect of others.

Thank you Lilou for all of your hard work and courage to face people with different energies and ego. If I remember correctly,it was Sonia Choquette in one of your interviews who mentioned "when you started your living tour you had several angels appeared behind you." You surely needed them with this one. Myss had some interesting insights and experiences to share but many of us had them too. The difference is that many of us did not built academic and/or mystic theory around them. Do we have to? If we do, did not we already miss the boat? At times it felt as if Myss had an ongoing inside argument between her 'grace' and 'intellect-ego'. As E. Tolle says about loosing one's ego "when the shift happens...shift from thinking to awareness, an intelligence far grater than the ego's cleverness begins to operate in your life" Once Myss will be able achieve this state she will then be able to give interviews in a more pleasant matter even if the interviewer is not as knowledgeable as she is. At least at the end Myss acknowledged Lilou's work and that seemed genuine.

The absolute beauty and power of how we can influence others through the grace of God is so amazing. i always say to my children to always be aware of your conscience..to let it be your guide in making decisions and that we all have to live with our conscience no matter what..and also treat people how we ourselves would like to be treated..♥️

@TheHummelpat First- I will say that I was fortunate to meet and speak with her in 2006. She graciously gave me free tickets to a 3 day weekend of seminars. I learned a lot. She is not arrogant, she is grounded. She simply doesn't have to be concerned with your judgment here or from anyone. She has been smacked to her knees by true cosmic profundity. Once the abyss looks into you, and you surrender to it- no one can "force" logic or "heart connection." YOU are the superior one who separates.

I completely agree...it isn't easy balancing the cold hard facts (that most would rather turn their heads from) with keeping her love and faith alive. I face the same challenge a lot..of wanting to radiate love, light and hope to people, while still honoring my own very feel emotions that come from Knowing all the harm we are causing each other and our planet.

She is beautiful as we all are. She has a perspective that is reflective of religion based on the words she uses. It is her perspective, but there are an infinite number of equally valid perspectives. We are all unique. We are equally valuable. There is no hierachy in Heaven. Our true soul is hidden to even ourselves, that is the self that we have bought into in the human experience. We truly do not know who we really are. Love is all that truly matters.
