Caroline Myss - The Journey of Empowerment (Archetypes in Depth)

Hi, Everybody,
It's time for an archetype video. At the beginning of this year, I said I would do videos on archetypes and archetypal experiences inherent in our lives. This morning, I was reminded of one of them: the archetypal journey of self-empowerment. Every one of us is on this journey.
Our first stage of empowerment in the physical world is "What will help me survive?" But eventually, we're led to inner empowerment or the power of the soul.
This transformation shifts our journey from our love of power in the outside world to the power of love and its capacity to change everything. This is the universal archetypal journey of life. It's all about discovering what kind of power you want-the power to take or the power to give, the power to transform or the power to destroy. True empowerment is the capacity to use your many gifts to empower the life of another person. That is our real highest calling, and it is archetypal and universal.
That's it. That's all life is. And it was wonderful to be reminded of that today.

The flavor of love. "it is what it is". My Babci's expression was "whatever it is it is", which, to our family is the Polish version of "due sera sera". Needed a smile today. I saved this video to savor over my morning coffee. "Where Christ lost his shoe". That did it for me, cracked me up. You see today I am waiting for the first visit from a hospice nurse for my 96 year old Mother. My mother's loving heart is tired. All of her life, my mother used her loving heart to defuse negative energy. That is the power of love. Last week her heart paused and as I held her hands, I said the words "Mom I love You". When I kissed Mom's forehead she drew another long breath. That too is the power of love. After Pop passed and when covid hit, Mom moved from her home to live with me. We live in a two beagle blue bungalow by the beach on the bay. Honey, her little beagle, naps on the recliner with her showering her with puppy love. While Mom touches and pets Honey that action takes away the anxious energy replacing it with peace. More powerful loving energy. All is one therefore I ask for one prayer for my Mom for a kind gentle journey from this world. Caroline thank you for posting youtube videos. This one definitely hit home.

Hi Caroline. I am listening to your videos for a long time already. Your work is blessing to humanity. Still over the last few years sometimes I would not quite agree with what you say. In this video You start off mentioning your 103 year old friend and that her ultimate teaching is that Love is what matters most in a humans live. I agree with that. And when you mention our previous generations, you say that we are the first ones to seek "empowerment", and I felt that this is part of the problem of our modern time. All previous generations have been looking to love somebody and to go with this person through the ups and downs of life and of course to meet their survival needs - love or not one must be able to have food on the table and not only for oneself, but also for your partner and the children that may be born out of the relationship that you engaded out of Love (hopefully). That has been so through the past 5000 years. Of course in polítics and wealth power games have been existing also, always. But for the simple people the greatest power they had, was to find somebody "to love", and then to survive, in the face disease, war and famine. Nowadays the search for power has replaced the search for love and so most relationship s and prematurely and how much money one earns is more important than how much love one is able to give. So the quest for empowerment has replaced the quest for love in most peoples lives and that is at it's core the reason for the wars both in Ucraine and Palestina, the wars in Africa and Latinoamérica and the wars and disagreements that go through families all over the planet. I agree with your friend that Love is what matters most in a humans live, and I agree with you when You say it's time to change from the love of power to the power of love!! Sincerely, Peter

Thanks so much. Recently I was hired to be a companion on a rehab unit. The love that the staff has for the residents is so consistent and on display that I leave there so uplifted, even if there is upsetness because people want to be in their homes. It occurred to me that they are treated like newborns and it is truly irrelevant how their bodies look.

Many years ago, I felt that if I knew what enlightenment is, I wouldn’t have pursued it because it made everything harder. But I have come to accept that maybe it was meant to be. If you have come to see that all is you, and there is no separation, every adversities become a look at your own flaws and imperfections. When you see that even the greatest enemies are essentially in you and of yourself, you have to search deep for only love for them. Although this is good and it dissolves your false sense of self (the ego Self), it is extremely difficult sometimes counter nature and counter intuitive. So yes, I do believe that deep inside, we know what truth would lead to and we are not just afraid of it but we resist it because the ego which is essentially the mind, cannot accept its death. That is the price of power… just my take on the matter. ✌️

I fell into medical burnout so now I have the 'opportunity' to rethink what I'm doing here... what about my job? what about my purpose? This is again a powerful video coming - at least for me - at the exact right timing. It's so easy to go back to predefined systems (specifically: the regular job market) but it feels so off, controlling and not aligned with what people, I, truly deeply want to give to this world before I leave it. On my journey I'm wondering which experiments am I a specimen of a different doctrine. I am agreeing with your giftings to my soul. As I'm expanding and exploring the empowerment of the love and guiding of my ancestors and angels of which you are a member. But not not at all with it's polar opposite on groups like blm, and cnn, msnbc, dnc, fbi, cdc, ama, fda, fbi, this potus the list goes on... i differ with the truth of the doctrines of MAGA i fear the lies that have led and influenced the polarities of your beliefs surrounding MAGA,, check a prophet by whether they have been proven false. Too bad I am witnessing how these lectures are getting less and less interesting. Kinda repeating always the same things. Questionable in this one is the dicotomíc approach towards the materialistic world, as for objects and possessions get often demonized. I find these kind of lectures rather superficial. Some objects have a lot of power. It’s what we make of them that determine our own power. Overall I have the impression that miss Myss has developed her own style (brand) and therefore is interested in repeating herself, and sadly stopped growing. 😢
