This album pulled me out of some of my darkest days in my life. @carolinerose I shared my tattoo this beautiful album inspired with your tour manager Ari. Would love to just tell you how much you've inspired me not just musically, but with my own personal growth as a human being. Thank you for everything and for being you Uncle Carol!

The first time I ever heard your music was when I saw you performing live at the Three Rivers Arts Festival during the summer of 2021. It was and still is the only time I ever discovered an artist I like by hearing them live. I never thought that simple evening in downtown would eventually lead to me crying to Getting To Me on the road trip where I realized I was trans. Would lead to Jeannie Becomes A Mom scoring my graduation and singing along to Blood On Your Bootheels with my friends the day after. Would lead to Tightrope Walker playing in the back of my head as the midwest landscape passed me by on the way to college across the country. Would lead to huddling in the bushes outside my dorm listening to Cry! as I wept for my home and the life I had. Would lead to me practically listening through The Art of Forgetting all the way through every single day on my commute to my job for months after choosing to drop out. Would lead to me leaving your art for a year, only to come back a couple months ago and listen to everything again. Would lead to completely, utterly, and irreparably altering the way I view love and grief and contributing to the actualization I've only now begun to achieve. Would help me heal my relationship with my mom, whom I was with when I first heard you in Pittsburgh. Words cannot describe the impact you as an artist have had on my life. It hasn't even been four years since I found your music, but you know how those few years right after high school go. It feels like half my lifetime was crammed into those years, and your art was there the whole time. Your discography soundtracked some of the most lonely and transformative times of my life, and now they score a me who has a job I love and a girlfriend I'm about to have dated for a whole year and friends that I'd go to the ends of the earth to support. I would still be here without you. But I wouldn't be the same. And I'm glad that I'm the me that I am, and your art is and always will be a part of that. Thank you for everything you've created. Much love

SO RAD! Saw you in Ausbury Park years ago and loved it. Kinda just walked into that show on accident. Spoke with you after bc I am a musician and I asked for advice. You told me "Show them what you want them to see" still thinking about that one. Now in a six piece indie rock band in Jackson, WY. This short film is awesome really raw which is what I love about your music! I was in Paris the same time as you last summer by coincidence and just missed your performance at that sweet venue! Would love to see perform out west! Tetonia club, ID is great and also think you would do well at Mangy Moose, WY!
