Saw these guys live in Clinton, IA in the late 90s. Small venue but they impressed me big time. Great, unique sound. I know no band like this.

Jimmy, Mark, Scott and Jason. That's the C-Spine I remember from 1998. Mark has moved all the way up to Washington State; all the band members still stay in touch with me, but I don't think we'll ever see this lineup again. Jimmy Newquist is one of the best songwriters I have ever known, and I guess it was personal issues that drove them apart. I know when Mark, Jason and Scott posted on the band page that they were no longer associated with Jimmy, I got drunk off my ass. My favorite band broke up. My wife tried to tell me that bands break up all the time, but I was like, "No. This is CAROLINE'S SPINE."

Stillwater OK through the 90's. I can't count how many times I saw you guys. I have an old bootleg of you doing Rainbow Connection that my drunk ass "yeah! Kermit rules!" can be heard on it. This was awesome to find! Cheers!!
