I’m so curious as to how the money part works! Like you guys rent places and buy food and all that but where do you get it from? Is it all paid for or is it just the ship stuff that’s paid for? Like how do you y’all pay bills, pay for the renting stuff, groceries, etc. That’s just all I can think about when I watch these videos 😂 and this isn’t anything hateful or nosy or anything, just genuinely curious

when traveling in country/port, SAS doesn’t pay for anything unless you do field programs (where they plan and rent everything for you) if you want to do independent travel, you have to book and come up with the money yourself, i know people on my voyage who saved up since high school to be able to do whatever they want in port and some people took out loans. it just depends on what you want to do! it also helps to book and travel with more people because then you get group discounts!
