I like the soul in her voice and bluesy hues of emotional melody. Honestly - Her voice is a mirror of my inner turmoil tonight but I love this video too! What girl hasn’t gone through this? So funny because this song carried me through a really hard time 6 years ago and now tonight. (I posted above 6 years ago!😂) Lol! Now again, in my life, I feel that pain once more but this time -I’m a little older, a little wiser and it doesn’t hurt as much. I saw Caroline Smith a few weekends ago. I really have to start by saying what a treat. Her band mates are laid back yet immensely skilled. I smoked a cig with them a joked about catching bass down by the river. I didn't know who I was joking with until they got up there. Caroline herself is a legend in her prime. I had never heard soul like that live. She let's loose; it inspired my own singing. Best voice I've ever seen in person. Thank you guys again for coming to Eau Claire!
