I did A LONG LAYOVER of 3 days in Paris BEFORE coming for a month in Africa. If you do the "skip the line passes" ( thru viator - on line ) you can see & do SO MUCH in that small amount of time. I had a boat ride down the Seine & the canals, Experienced the Garnier Paris Opera House ( a MUST SEE ), The Louvre, had champagne at the top of the Eiffel tower, saw the Cathederal of Notre Dame & the city of the city of Monmarte outside of Paris - the Wall of Love & the Bascillica of the Sacred Heart... All before going to Kenya & experiencing The Giraffe Manor & the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage.

I really wish we could live in harmony with humans and other mammals. I feel so much joy when I am around animals especially those that are comfortable with humans. For now, that limits me to domesticated creatures like dogs, cats, pigs, rabbits, sheep, etc., but I just adore other mammals and think we humans can have a great bond with our brother or sister mammals. They are so loving and honest (unlike some humans) and give humans such joy!

is it me or did he say ONE pellet at a time?? (2:45min) at 8:00min she's already feeding the giraffe multiple full hands of pellets. Now I'm sure that Giraffes can eat a lot, they are huge and probably need a lot of food. Perhaps the hotel gives you a set amount of food to feed them throughout the day, so as not to overfeed them or make them "greedy". Maybe it's necessary to keep them from grazing down the whole property. If not then she sure forgot the rules fast. (if you know more then let me know: ) )
