I think people that don’t like it don’t like clarifying shampoos. I’m not a co-wash natural at all lol, my hair responds to products much better after i do a clarifying shampoo, moisturizing than a deep condish.

I’ve really been enjoying this shampoo. It’s not the most moisturizing but that’s not the first or even second thing I look for in a shampoo. Plus it rinses out easily to I can clarify without having to rinse for five years 🤣🤣 CD did a great job with this one!

I thought I was the only one who felt like that about shampoo lol. I don't need my shampoo to be moisturising. I just need it to clean my scalp and hair. I expect my conditioner to add the moisture back.

To me, carols daughter is removing previous lines to start anew like with the coco creme and goddess strength lines being their moisture and this being their clarifyer. They’ve seen that people stray from their products mainstream and they’re making an effort to come back since Shea moisture is canceled for alot of us. A for effort

To bad the ingredients aren't all that great for the goddess strength collection. If they take out the drying alcohols and silicones, then maybe an A for effort (in my opinion) is justified.

@@mayaarroyoburton7840 you know not all alcohols are bad for the hair and not all silicones are either. Some silicones are water soluble and some alcohols helps with the slip and mositure. Do your research on which does what.

This shampoo really seems like more of a scalp cleanser than a general hair shampoo. I've looked at the ingredients--definitely cleans in there--and watched a bunch of reviews. I'm noticing that people with above the shoulder hair LOVE this shampoo while those with below the shoulder still get clean scalps, but much of their hair winds up matted. I'm guessing it's because it's formulated to attack scalp build-up, so I feel like it'd be a great braid refresher. Personally, I'm staying away from it as my hair has begun to pass my shoulders and I've learnt how to prevent massive build-up through trial and error. But, like all things, if it works it works, if it doesn't, it doesn't.

@@wapaa26 Moisturize, but not too much. And don't put off wash day. If my hair is out every 2-3 weeks. If braided or twisted, 5-6 weeks. Sometimes sooner if my hair feels itchy.

I hated it when I used it initially but what I found works for me is when I use it to clean my scalp when I have mini-twists. I really like it then but that’s the only time I use it lol

I like it. I use grease and this removes it leaving my hair squeaky clean. I follow up with my favorite moisturizing shampoo then condition.

Really great video! your curls are soo beautiful! I just bought this because I liked the idea that it's water-based and it looked really light. I have locs and I am looking for a lot of water-based products. I can not do creamy anything, although I see many ladies with locs that do use creamy products. Plus I have hard water. Another reason why I need something that will be easy to rinse out. If you like, I can post my thoughts on it from the perspective of someone with locs. Thanks again for your video!

So I bought this and it didn’t foam much for me 🧐 I don’t know if it’s because I was near running water and maybe the water was rinsing the liquid out my hair before it got a chance to lather, but foam is my favorite part of any shampoo so I was a lil salty about that lol. Foam or not though, it cleaned the hell out of my hair after wearing twists for 4 weeks, so job well done. It’s definitely a clarifier though.

I think I might pick this up because I don't rely on my shampoos to put moisture back in my hair. This certainly is going to be a lot more gentle than a sulfate based clairifying shampoo like the Paul Mitchell ones I use that legit wipe everything on the surface and inside your hair. LOL you can always go in with a creamy moisturizing shampoo after clairifying and go to your deep conditioner... Overall I think that it looks like it did what it said

I saw the videos of the lather and I had to try it. Had to choose between the leave in cond and the wash one --- b./c you know green don't grow on trees now. Too curly hair, so the leave in. lol lol :) I have to rotate shampoos with my hair, long story short. So, this is perfect in between shampoos. For 2 @ CVS it was $29. Someone somewhere else said "under 10". lol lol Where?
