I wanted to make a video to have for our memories of our 25th wedding anniversary trip, and I thought I would share these memories with you guys as well (since some of you specifically asked if I would be vlogging our trip). I hope you enjoy seeing what we did on our way down to our cruise! We love amusement parks, so this just seemed like a good start to our trip. Part 2 - The Cruise, will be coming soon!

Cannot wait to watch! I went to Carowinds many years ago. Happy anniversary! I love that you love roller-coasters. Lol That is the total opposite of me. I did ride all of the rides there except the one that had a bicycle seat. I didn't feel comfortable when they strapped me in, and I decided not to ride. The very next week, someone fell off that ride, and it killed them. I love that you and Brian go to amusement parks together. So fun! You looked so cute! Can't wait to the cruise videos!

Thank you so much! I can't believe we've been married for 25 years already! I loved rollercoasters when I was young, then I had kids and was suddenly terrified of them. I didn't start riding them again until about 2 years ago! Now I love riding them ALL! Wow, that is so scary about that one ride that you didn't ride, and then someone died on it. They must not have that anymore, because I don't recall seeing any with a seat like that. I'm dreading putting the cruise video together, because I know it's going to take forever, but I know I will love having it too! LOL

We actually stayed in another one of these hotels on the trip home from the cruise, and also this past Sunday and Monday, when we went to Kings Island. They are pretty nice. No frills, just nice and clean and a decent price. The coasters are so fun!!!!

I like the bedspread too, I’m done with duvets to hard to put the insert in. Very nice appointment hotel room and the breakfast area is very nice too. I’m not a theme park person the crowd are to much and the rides make me vomit and I get migraines. I basically a dud and I’m deathly afraid of roller coasters . The roller coaster no way , whiplash comes to mind. The park looks pretty and I would prefer the cold . Thank you for sharing!

Yes, I have a pretty similar bedspread at home and love it! I do have a duvet for fall and winter, but I agree that putting the covers on is a pain in the rear, especially for how often I like to wash them. There is something about the atmosphere of amusement parks that just make me so happy. I love hearing all of the sounds of the music, sounds of the rides on the tracks, people laughing and screaming...it's just something I really enjoy. We just spent the day yesterday at Cedar Point with one of my sisters and 2 of my nieces and had the most amazing day! The weather was perfection (75 and mostly sunny) and we got to ride all of the rides, and 2 of the biggest and our most favorite coasters twice! I am wiped out today though, let me tell ya. It's a ton of walking, and just being outside in the sun all day and the 3 hour drive both ways...well, it takes a lot of ya. LOL I do love the days in the park when it's in the 60s the best though, because I can't stand being hot, and that's a beautiful temperature to be at. The evening yesterday was just absolutely perfect. I'm so thankful for fun days and memories being made like that!

Yeah, I wasn't expecting that, but I guess it's not like it's really that far south and it was only the beginning of April. A storm came in the day we were driving there and brought the temperature down about 15 degrees from what it had been, so it was just bad timing.

Hey hey! Happy 25th anniversary 🎉❤ this amusement park looks like fun!! Only place ive been to similar to this is Six Flags in California. Some rides get to me as well but most I can do. Josh gets sick easily on spinning rides so we usually avoid those. Thanks for taking us along ❤

Thank you so much, Brittany! We did have a really good time there, but have already been to our favorite amusement park twice since then, and are going with my sister and two of my nieces next week too! It just has so many more rides and things to do. That was a fun adventure and way to kick off our anniversary trip though. We decided we are going to try out another amusement park for 2 days in July, to celebrate my husband's birthday. We're really looking forward to it! It's another park that has a lot of good rollercoasters, so we're definitely down!

I use to like to ride rides but my motion sickness is sooo bad now that I’m older I can’t even watch the kids jump on the trampoline without getting sick 😂😂😂 This looks so much fun! Oh we have a amusement park that has camp snoopy i wonder if they are owned by the same company 🤔 Hope you had a amazing anniversary 🩵🩵🩵🩵

I only get sick on things that spin a lot. I can go on the flying swings, as long as I just look at the swing right in front of me, and don't look out past that. Motion sickness is the worst! I used to get it so bad in the car all the time, but haven't had that in a long time, thankfully. I just looked, and the amusement park you're talking about must be Worlds of Fun, and it is owned by Cedar Fair too! Cedar Fair and Six Flags are actually merging on July 1st. We're hoping that means if we get platinum passes, we'll be able to use them at all of the parks next year. I think traveling around to different amusement parks is going to be something we start doing a lot. In fact, we're headed to a new one for us this week! We had the BEST anniversary trip and actual anniversary. I really need to just get that cruise vlog put together so I can get it up. It's such a daunting task! LOL

@@GlamburgerGlam well it was three of the six flags amusement parks as well as both of the Disney parks, plus Knottsberry farms park, also Silverwoods in Idaho, also I went to Busch gardens as well as King's Dominion parks. And after listing those it actually counts as 9, obviously I can't count 😂.

@@celestialrogue6006 That's so awesome! I've been to all 4 of the Disney World parks, as well as both of the Universal Studios parks in Florida. Then, Cedar Point a ton of times and now Carowinds. So, I guess I've technically been to 8. King's Island in July will make 9! They are so fun! You've been to some really cool ones that I would love to get to someday too!
