Carowinds is OPEN for 2024! New food, new shows, new merch, and a new season - Charlotte, NC

We've finally made it to opening day at Carowinds for 2024! Even though it felt like an eternity, once I got there, I never felt like I left. I had a good time checking out the new food, merch, and show. Even though I enjoyed everything from that list, the merch was what I thought they knocked out of the park. I have a feeling that they are preparing for some big changes this year and I'm excited to see what happens!

We went on pass holders day too. I live here in Charlotte not maybe 15 minutes from Carowinds. You can see Furry, Thunder Stiker, and Windseeker from the grocery store by our house and hear when they shoot off fireworks. We are within walking distance to the I 77 bridge on Nations Ford rd. You can see the rides I just mentioned from the bridge and see the fireworks. We went 8 times last year. Once before scarowimds and many times during winterfest. Then pass holders day this year. Going again the end of this month to. Love your videos.

As someone who's home park is Universal in Orlando, its always great to see what other parks have to offer. Carowinds is one of my favs, and love thier coaster line up. Glad they kept Intimidator , even with a new name. Its one of my all time favs. I'm always shocked at how cheap stuff is, compared to the exorbidant prices at parks here in Florida. Thanks for showing the food and merch with prices. I'll be up that way again soon, and cant wait! Thanks for the great information!

We have annual passes to WDW and UO and love coming to Florida too! I do think that Carowinds has some of the best roller coasters at any amusement park. I agree, it's a great value. Especially when the waterpark opens! I'm glad you watched the video and I hope you have a good time when you come up. Thanks for watching!

We went today and thought the park did a great job! The staff was all very friendly and the 2024 merch is the best they’ve had in a while! They did a great job! Let’s hope it’s a great year for them.

Where is the cool classic car, that sat in front of the restaurant, for many years. That paramounts had sitting there. And one last great ride they added. before changed the borg simulator.

I'm really glad of the intimidator name change... the reason being I hate it when parks name coasters the same thing.... Funny ... when I show the thumbnail...the text in the thumbnail said new food, shows "and more"... when I first read it, I thought it read "new food, shows pino more... I was like, what is pino? then I realized it was "and" lol

We live close enough to where we can drive back and forth without having to stay in a hotel. We did stay at Springhill Suites one time and it was clean and nice when we went!

How did you get started doing KZbin and getting a media pass. Just curious. Nice video since I'm too far from there.

We watched a ton of KZbin videos on where we wanted to travel so I decided to try making videos myself. It was a struggle at first because I'm honestly pretty socially awkward but it's helped with that and actually turned into a fun little hobby. There's a link on Carowinds' website to apply to get the media pass and they approved me on it. It has been a very interesting ride doing this for sure. Thanks for watching the video and asking about me. I really do appreciate it!
