3 of us on Cacklehill next Monday for a cheeky 60hr, hope we get that side of the lake as it's ideal for a social. Agree with previous comment on Bivvy Bistro - I'd defo bin Cider of The Sesh and replace it with this. Tight lines fellas and thanks for the vid!

Bivvy bistro will certainly happen again.. but obviously only when Mike is with us. Which he won't be able to everytime due to work commitments. But it'll be as regular as he is!! And best of luck on your session!!

Im going down to cackle hill for the first time next week is it busy at the moment? Any tips on bait, rigs etc? Keep up the content

It has been fairly busy. But there's plenty of space between swims. So you're not on top of each other. In terms of rigs and baits. I've done very well with anything garlic or nutty. On an IQ D rig or Ronnie rig. And if you get a swim where you can cast close to the island that does the business.

Ok.. if you can't it all depends on where you are. If you're in swim 9 or 10. Then you just go down the side margin of the lake. If you're in swim 1 you go towards the reeds margin. And swim 4 if I'm correct on my swims, again you just go down the margin to your right. Pretty sure every other swim can go to the island.

We've had a lot of success using IQ D rigs with some kind of garlic flavoured boillie. Either soaked in garlic goo, or an actual garlic boillie. Also nutty flavour/coloured baits work very well there.

I think the rules have possibly slightly changed. When we went I did ask and he said if when you ring up to book you ask you'll be allowed. It all depends on who's around you. We were all together fishing the same area ish. Therefore we had no issues fishing into some randoms area or driving a boat into someone's swim and annoying them. Worth asking next time you book to go there.
