I've been doing this for a while with my standard base mix as some ingredients I use produce a very dark bait and I wanted a visual reference for the fish - it's so important to make sure that both mixes are of a similar consistency as they struggle to bind when otherwise.

What do I use if I can't find any pop up mix. ?? Any alternatives? We use pop up feeder for fishing carps but use sponge pop ups.. This video is interesting because the pop ups you make has flavours

cell wafters my favorite, a good combo so far is cell wafter soaked in outrageous orange goo, or smart liquid. Sometimes, added a cell topper, due to the soaked goo/liquid making the boilies too heavy. If i do a smowman, i use sinking cell soaked in liquid, with a 12 mm popup, mostly something fruity, that goes well with the coconutty cell.
