this is a perfect example of the content I'm hoping to create in the future with my little boy getting himself involved aswell.. it's nice to see the fish down your end are so energetic still. there's a large amount of venues in our neck of the woods where the fish almost tend to shut off around this time of the year. PLEASE keep these videos going. if not for the viewers for your own personal sake, the chance to create memories is a miracle. but the chance to relive them is something well worth taking advantage of for the future. 👍 Beezed

What a great way to get me through a cold morning at work. Really entertaining and the underwater footage was superb! Great to see the little carpers out on the bank, I've got 3 daughters and there not really interested in fishing so I have to put up with the brother in law instead who's a big kid any way. Cheers!

Superb video guys ! Exciting to watch and will be going there tomorrow morning ! Nice to see that fish that Ed (Eds PB and first 30lb+ carp) and Lewis caught with Chilly assisting him - beautiful mirror. I also caught it this summer after spawning at 32lb 9oz. Cant decide which lake to fish 1 or 2... Never fished 2. Thanks guys for video again and looking forward to next one ! Tight lines !

Great inspirational videos thank you, especially as I'm local to Farlows! Would be nice to have some hints on tactics and rigs for someone who's just got back to fishing after a 40 year gap! For now I'm a lake 3 guy or Milton Pools Kidney lake! Time to move on but could I get those fish without having to spend fortunes on top of the range tackle?

Has to be one of the best carp vids ive seen.Well done on a superb video.Ive been in the game for some 20 years now and have seen alot of changes.Your video has just given me the mojo back.Has farlows reputation changed for the better now?.i live a 5min drive from the lake but have always kept away due to worry of tackle thieves and larger lowts.Have you tried little britain next door.There are some real old warriors in there and still take a bait on the right day.Keep the vids coming love your passion for the sport.

Glad you enjoyed the video John, we did not fish the farlows of the old days due to the stories we use to hear too, but having fished there the last 4 years we have never had an issue and the new owners have put a new gate around the whole site and staff the venue 24/7 too.
@richardsydenham41057 жыл бұрын
The lake has changed so much I used to live in Cowley and fished there alot but that was over 50 years ago there was some nice carp in there then but not so large well I didn't cacht any 30lbser the larges was 15lbs but there was so many breem and we didn't have bolleys then it was just bread and free lineing or with leger I would love to go back there some day but I live a bit far away we have very big carp here but they are not so pritty as in England

just goes to show how unnatural pop ups are! the way they waft about n stick bolt upright whilst everying else is floating around as the fish suck n blow. Never been big on pop ups myself.

I believe they have pros and cons to them like most things, but in the correct situation can be great.
