This is the film to put your feet up to, pour and drink, and tag along with Graeme as he sets up for a night of Classic English Carp fishing. The setting is a superb 200 year old lake and our man tackles it with his usual laid back approach of not taking anything too seriously. He uses a mish-mash of tackle, baits and ideas as he tries to find a way to get some success with the traditional Carp of the lake. Throw in a surprise species plus one of his legendary cookups and you have the recipe for an hour of fishy entertainment. After all, it's The Totally Awesome Fishing Show where any sort of fish in the net is gratefully accepted. And there could be a few tips and a bit of amusement in there as well. Sit back and enjoy. It's a classic GP film!

Hi Graeme, think this was the session last year where I had a nice chat to you in the morning while you were packing up. You were kind enough to come over to me and give me a handful of boilies and a couple of PVA bags. Really kind of you mate thanks for that 👍

Graham I love your channel and I know you don't waste money on expensive fancy baits. I am on a budget, even more so now with energy prices soaring. I am always looking for new inexpensive baits. I recently tried webbox chub roll, its a kilo of a soft dog food shaped like a giant sausage. Just over 50p a kilo. Its available in different flavours, chicken, beef and others. Its very soft and comes off the hook quite easily but carp love it as much as luncheon meat. If you keep it cold in a cool box it is usable if you cast gently. It can be a bit messy if it gets warm though.

Nice session Graeme, they certainly seem to turn on over night at Bury hill fishery. Fished it about 20 years ago for zander in a boat just off the lilly pads. All quiet at first but once the light dipped it went mental, i even had a nice zander wrapped around the anchor chain! The dip for the boilies seemed to be helping i think. As always looking forward to the next video. God bless.

Over the years I've managed to accumulate lucky boots, lucky pants, lucky shirt x2, lucky jacket and a lucky hat. I've yet to find lucky gloves for winter, though I'm working on it. I've gotten a cheap bivvy and a stretcher I like, as well as a comfy chair and good, small cooker. I like to take a book to read for the quiet times when I'm not purely revelling in the atmosphere of being out fishing for the night in a lovely spot. For the tinned stew I like to add a half tin of water just to thin it out a little as I tend to find most of them are a bit rich at times and then add a dash of worcestershire. Maybe a diced tomatoe or two. Some of the finest times of my life have been spent sitting amongst some bushes and doing absolutely nothing. Occasionally I'll catch a fish to ruin the peace and quiet lol.

Good deed training the ducks Graem. You know, they ARE english ducks. And as the world knows, only middle eastern or african ducks receive government help. Good deed indeed. Its seems NO native ducks are entitled to help anywhere. Darker colored ducks are living the life it seems. They are also considered better ducks. Blonde ducks are treated awful because they apparantly treated the other ducks poorly in centuries gone by.
