Once a year I manage to have a trip to France and this year I’ve travelled with a few friends to try and catch Carp and Catfish.

oh we took decathlon boilies and they got hammered off the roach only the scopex and monster crabs stayed on the hook but the 10kg bag for £24.99 is a bargin so cant complain.........also dont go the one on Ashton New rd its shite the Stockport one is much better.

I used decathlon boiles on res ,and the breakdowm of them was terrible

I have booked a week in May at Cailleaux on the strengh of your vid and comments about the lake. I have booked peg 1 and my plan of attack is 25kg of 20m & 10kg of 8m Halibut pellets and 10kg of 20m Krill boiles. 2 rods with 3 20m pellets on hair rigs and the other with the Krills. I will judge my baiting up once there. Do you think this is ok. Any advice would be appreicated.

You won’t go far wrong, fish just before a Plato at 100 yards and off the far margin tight fir the carp. Also take maize buddy loads of it.

Were going end of april beginning of may down far bottom peg 10 9 8 7 the carp go to 55lb and cats go to 145lb you can fish a live bait buy trout off sebastian €2 if your in peg 1 aswell try the Bush that runs the length right up to the plato and if you can and there no 1 in peg 2 3 4 send a live bait right over to the far margin and hold on tight best of luck

tough getting beat up off them lumps, went to France in AUG and a carp smashed my glasses off, put them back on and was struggling to tie a rig later that day.............realised it had knocked one of my lenses out. haha..............good video although th venue looks a bit of noddy runs water with that amount of fish in a 5 acre lake but if you want a bend in the rod its worth considering............personally I dont like cats theyre ugly horrors but each to their own.

With waters in France it’s either a runs water or the fish have been removed. My section of the lake was hit hard by myself working hard morning and night to catch and the other section they was struggling. On any water if you put the work in you’ve got a better chance of catching. For many years I was a match anglers doing very well and you learn very quickly that you’ve got to work the fish. Noddy isn’t a word I like in angling as it’s meant to be fun and not about the judgement of people..

@@Carlfishing I've watched another video of the same lake . It was some younger lads from up this way and it was run after run on cats and grasses plus the comments section on their website tells you it's a runs water. Personally I think that many large cats and head of carp is not healthy for a small water but it keeps the bookings coming so I suppose it works.........oh and stop being so mard it's an observation nothing personal .
