Thats my stretch of the thames. I'm not bothered because its a thousand blanks per catch so most of the noddys will quit and return to their stocked mud pools after a few nights blanking on the thames.

This fella Sam is a top bloke and a fantastic angler, big up to your great personality and hospitality to show our French counterparts a truly awesome stretch of our country and not to mention a proper English waterway and not just ponds stocked with vast amounts of fish... good to see you wife turn up you both bounce off each other. Nothing worse than losing your pups. Being local, and having walked one of those thames sections a lot with my dog, it really isn’t that busy (understatement - it’s largely deserted unless you’re all sneaking there solely for overnighters) and this is the second Nash video it’s been in (the last one had the somewhat iconic bridge in the background). Not sure that the hate is justified.

@@Toronto_James yeah that was the rumour of where that fish came from.. that was over 20 years ago now. It was actually an escapee from a lake. I got hold of photos of a capture in the lake when it was a scrapper 30. The river was decent back then. Had loads out. Not caught a Thames 30 or had anything free from a magazine I’m afraid though.
