What a absolute amazing video lads. Very eye opening to what is going on under the surface and how the carp react to different situations. Very gut wrenching to have the fish kill . Hi Jeff , Thanks for watching The stocking saw 20 carp introduce which brings the stock up to about 90% I believe, with the water being very clear the colour change on the fish is amazing.

On your message about fish feeding throughout the winter, i think this year has maybe just been very mild for winter time. As I'm fortunate to have a good sized pond and I know previous years once those big frosts come and stay around for weeks my fish will usually retreat to the deepest(6 1/2 foot) part in a sheltered corner and they can stay there for months barely moving. But this year they still haven't retreated to that corner yet and have been merrily swimming around still in the upper 1/3 of the water column. This is down in the south, maybe different further north where they have had some harsher weather though. Fantastic video though really enjoying it so far, it's fascinating to see them feeding and reacting to things on the bottom. I notice you can see them having a change of direction towards those pale pink popups as they approach an area to feed. Shows how just that slight change in colour can really catch their attention.

I believe they do feed all winter as filmed this behaviour over a few different years and lakes. But other venues could maybe be different. Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed
