Nice tip Rob, got to try that. Surely a guy with your experience should be using the clutch mechanism on the reel by now! The smooth reliability must be better than the 'clunky' stopping the spool or handle with your hand. Extra couple of %?. Tiny gripe over! Merry Xmas.
@RobWootton3 жыл бұрын
I love the back wind Brin, just something I was brought up with, I set the clutch also but I reckon I have a better ‘feel’ with the back wind
@brinmorris45713 жыл бұрын
@@RobWootton yep , was bought up on the bckwind too, & its takes a leap of faith to go fully on the clutch, but reels are so much better now, I wouldn't go back. Tight lines fella.

Great video … when venues have minimum hook lengths would putting shot on the line work to vary the depth of the floating bread ??
@RobWootton3 жыл бұрын
It would still work Chris but direct off of the lead is better for bookings fish I think
@Asdf999722 жыл бұрын
Hi Rob what is the baiting needle you are using to put the bread on? Just like the look of the length of it and handle
@RobWootton2 жыл бұрын
It’s a Middy pusher needle Lee

If the fish swallows the foam will it digest it ?
@waynenippard59333 жыл бұрын
No and the reason why plastic baits are being banned on more and more venues. Also if you did loose your rig, for whatever reason, it will still be fishing until it is taken by a fish or even a bird.
@RobWootton3 жыл бұрын
I can’t remember ever coming back and the foam not being on. I guess its a similar scenario to artificial corn hookbaits

If you are in a match with all pegs in won't it be harder to search around for a pocket of fish?
@RobWootton3 жыл бұрын
I guess it depends how much space you have... You definitely need to find them though at this time of year
@geoffbacon693 жыл бұрын
Can't use this method rob, with the clear water on the venue I fish I have problems with ducks 🦆 pal 👍
